"""""Scientists from MIT have discovered that by coating carbon nanotubes in bee venom, they can create ultra-sensitive detectors for explosives such as TNT, as well as at least two different types of pesticides. This means that bees and their stingers could become important to making better environmental sensors"""""

This is certainly a novel approach for using the proteins found in bee venom. It seems there are a number of potential uses for the poison,

Ahh great. Like the bees don't have enough problems on their own, now some scientists are going to start harvesting their little stingers for bomb detection.

I still haven't seen a bee yet in the garden and it's in full bloom... tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, dill...etc. Good thing for open pollinated plants.
