Sigh, the same old cliches. I would like to know what you define as ''Westernized.'' Besides, it's not a matter of Westernizing, it's a matter of integration. Not speaking the local language properly while you have lived here for more than three decades, is not exactly integrating. Not having a sense of unity and belonging (German-born Turks feeling Turk, rather than German) is not exactly what I call integrating.

I'm Dutch, but I live somewhere else. My opinion on Wilders is that he's a demagogic populist not contributing anything to the debate. After all, saying that the prophet had a brain tumor is not exactly helping anything.

However, there is a problem and frankly, respectfully, speaking, I'm getting pretty much fed up of people like you, who seem (in my opinion) clueless and try to downplay the problems that exist. Multiculturalism (or to be more specific: the integration of large groups of Muslims) has failed. I guess you are not from Europe, otherwise you would not be downplaying this problem.

Besides, it is a fact that there is a very significant group of Islam followers that share an extremist view. The standard answer of apologists is: there's extremism everywhere. True, but we have to distinguish between the extent. I know not of a large number of Christians using violence (against muslims) in the name of God. If you do, please provide me with some information.

Personally, I have no problem with Islamic people living in my community, I was best friends with one from grades 5-7, and he was no less Canadian than myself. No, he is not. Wilders is exposing the Islamic ideology for what it truly is. He is NOT singling anyone out or a group out. Just the Ideology of islam!

Did any of you folks catch Wilders being interviewed by Sun NEWS Ezra Levant? It was quite excellent and Mr Wilder raised some very good points specifically that islam really isn't a religion but rather an ideology like the nazi's followed; an oppressive authoritarianism ideology. Wilder raised a very valid point when he asked why mein kampf was banned in Holland yet the koran, a book that is full of a doctrine of pure hatred, is not also banned.

I love how so called 'liberals' just love to sit on the fence when it comes to islam and it's encroachment into western modern societies that are accepting of gay people and look at women as equals of men. For years women have struggled for equality in the work place and in society in general. Now, along comes this barbaric hate filled authortarian ideology and these same 'liberals' are silent when it comes to speaking out against it's stone age beliefs and pratices. Americans and Canadians need to pay close attention to what has happened in Europe and the failure to integrate islam into a modern civilized society.

Islam has absolutely no place in a modern civilized society, nor does ANY belief system, doctrine or religion that preaches hatred and assimilation.

I too am a Westerner living in a Muslim country for the past 9 years. There are several Muslims in my family and most Muslims I know are gentle and kind folk and they live in harmony with the 10% Christian population. There is more tribal/regional differences (often very violent) between Muslims than between Christians and Muslims, although I would be lying if I said that there had not been Muslim/Christian violence occurring in the country since I moved there. Not once have I been approached to convert to Islam.

You can be sure this is truth, its all in there and a whole lot more. Its no suprise why the lies contained within this book are there.

I do not speak Arabic but I have an English translation of Al Quran (English does not translate from Arabic very well) but I have read much of the book, primarily to see what all of the fuss made by MSM is and quite frankly, I see no more violence in this than in the Bible. I suggest that there are no more lies in Al Quran than in the Bible.

One could Argue that Catholicism actively promotes both homosexuality and Paedophilia since the Age of consent in Vatican City is 12 yrs. As Protopalsmictraveller says; all of the Abrahamic religions have fairly cataclysmic endings for those who do not follow the teachings.

In fact, when you look deeper into religion you will see that most are very similar. Allah is the same God as the Christian God, Jesus appears in Al Quran but it is Muhammad who is the last prophet and therefore delivers the word of Allah to Muslims. Most of the common religions are based on ancient Astrology from times of the Egyptian Pharoes. Only when you understand this will you truly understand what a scam all religions are.

The Bible and for that matter, the Torah have been edited and modified so much over the centuries to suit certain agendas of the elite and deprive readers of certain ancient wisdom. This has led Muslims to encourage the passing on of the Holy script through generations utilizing Human memory. This is why you see young boys learning Al Quran verbatum whilst we in the west, not understanding their reason for doing so, poke fun at them and blindly accept our corrupted texts believing we are somehow superior.

There is but one God for all mankind and I for one think it is more important to be a good human being than to blindly follow any single religion. All people from all faiths have enough problems bestowed upon us by those who wish to control us and we really need to find peace and harmony amongst ourselves. Only when we can demonstrate this kind of tolerance and respect for our fellow man will we have any chance of breaking free from those who wish to control us.

I live in the GTA, and by no means am I threatened by the muslim population.
In my area, I'm actually a minority as we have many immigrants from the south east asian and middle east, and even alot of africans. Many people complain about how the canadian culture is being burned by immigrants.
I disagree, if anything- it teaches us alot about each other and other cultures.
I worked with a muslim from Nigeria in a warehouse.
Wisest man I have ever met, and could hold a conversation/argument better together than anyone in my family.
Not once did he ever push his faith on to me... I actually found my self asking him alot of things ( I was brought up catholic and a J-school student, so I am a tad curious) Majority of things he said made sense, and the stuff that didn't would usually make sense at some point in the future. I learned alot from him, not only history and foreign culture- but true wisdom.
These people are not our enemies- and if you ask me, majority of people who live in the GTA would say they don't have a problem with muslims. Hell theres a brand new mosque right down the street from me. No outrage from the community, instead that community is fighting off the introduction of a new condo complex.
They are not here to take-over and nor do I think they would ever be able to. Many of them just wish for a nice place to live, and I don't blame them Canada is an awesome country.

There is a difference between those who call themselves muslims and those who actually follow the instruction of the koran.

When you leave your Country to live in another you should become a part of the Country you move to.

I have severe issues with statements like these. Why? Because most of the time, the people using them are oblivious as to where/why these statements originated.

According to pfffff laws and human rights and all that "some" people only incidentally believe in, every human being is free to believe as they wish. Now I know this will upset you, so please put on your big boy pants, but it has to be said: Those people living in your country have the same rights as you do in your own country. They are free to believe and say as they do, in accordance with law.
