Use your head.. Or leave, Simply put.. You are part of the problem..

Actually the problem is that people put up with the corporate buttf*cking that goes on every day. They go home depressed, feeling powerless and impotent.

Fight back...or leave. If you're not fighting back, you're part of the problem.

HA! You know nothing of me.. Your nothing in comparison.. I am 27 years old, and if i were to die tomorrow i would die a happy man, knowing i spent the better part of my life FIGHTING and PROTESTING for REAL change..

Stealing only makes you a thief.. Enough said.

I had a great Job, Chose my own hours.. I lived in a apartment complex that cost me 1,600 a month just to rent.. And i gave it all up.. ALL OF IT..

As i became more and more disgusted with the system.. watching my fellow brothers, and sisters deal with poverty.. I quit my job lost the apartment, And gave up most of what i knew as "normal" to give back to my community..

What have you done with your life?

So we have a lot in common. We just use different methods. Explain to me why you're picking a fight again?

I'm not picking a fight.. You asked our advice "Stealing From Work and Corporations...Good or Bad?".. And we gave it.. Sorry you don't like our option's..

If you want a personal answer from me.. I suppose it's because if you are trying to fight corporate America.. You are going about it in the COMPLETE wrong way..

My advice.. hunt down your local activists.. get involved in a movement for change.. Don't assume stealing is going to help anything.. Because we all know it won't..

It just degrades you to there level..

EDIT TO ADD: Be the change you seek, Don't add to the problem..

Yeah I've done activism. Like I said, it just creates divisions and funnels you right back into the hands of the media and politicians. If activism is negatively portrayed by the media (which is almost always is) actually does more harm than good to your cause. Stealing isnt the only method of resistance I employ and I thank you for your opinion on it. I really do appreciate it.

Peace.

Ha! Corporate spies who infiltrate and turn in fellow employees. Ha! I'm not surpised one bit.
If you still work there, why? What were they stealing? Paperclips? Corporate documents?

Actually they were stealing whole trailer truck loads of goods out of the warehouse and selling them on the black market in one case.

In the other case the two idiots stole a valuable patent and were using it to get financing to start another corporation. Not it was not their patent, they never did a bit of work on it. Yes I worked with them and they were lazy useless arrogant idiots. Most in the plant (union shop) were very glad to see them get zapped.

Do I still work there? No. I am a small business owner and work my butt off for myself. Yes I have hired other people and ever single one has stolen from me. Now I normally just do not bother. I scaled down the business so I do not have to put up with socialists who think I owe them a living while THEY get to sit on their rumps and whine and steal.

I am in my sixties and hired a big husky guy in his twenties for a day last week. I worked him into the ground. Even the Mexicans I have hired are shocked at the amount of physical labor I can do in a day.

I have a deep hatred for the Transnational corporations but I have nothing but contempt for the gimme socialists who are actually bankster puppets.

The bankers have been behind socialism and funding it for decades, starting with the Bolshevik Revolution and before.

Mainstream media.. Don't get the term media confused.. Just as che said.. “I don't care if I fall as long as someone else picks up my gun and keeps on shooting.”

metaphorically speaking..

Feel guilty, don't steal from anyone. 90% of us on here are stealing time from our company by being here.

Wow, alot of do gooders here!

Well now, I work in a coffee shop that sells cakes, and at the end of the day we throw away sandwich's, cakes and any toasties/panini's/potatos that need to go. Sometimes its not alot, sometimes its been know to be two bin liners full of these items - All thrown in the bin as half the world starves.

The company i work for insists on paying me the national minimum wage, despite the fact that its just not enough money be independent and thus i am forced to live at home at 22 years old. wonderful. Its also company policy that none of the staff consume any of the items, even if they are being thrown - They call it theft by consumption.
I call it ridiculious red tape put in place by people that have a decent wage.
Recently, one of our area managers grassed on our staff for keeping our OWN tea bags, Thats right, they expect us to pay for THERE tea bags when we have short break. Its incredibly stupid.

But to the point. If i am working a late and there are cakes to be thrown, I have a nibble. I have a nibble because its getting thrown. I have a nibble because sometimes they make me work 5hrs without a break. I have a nibble because they expect me to not have a life outside of that place. They want me availible to work over 7 days at their beck and call. I have a nibble because if they catch me, they can fire me and i'll just pick up another #ty minimum wage job - That is if i cant get a job that pays more.

Why not take the cakes at the end of your shift and give them to a shelter? or even just take a half hour out of your day and hand them out to those less fortunate than others..

Act's of kindness, and goodwill seek no collateral.. And earn you respect as a person..

EDIT TO ADD: There is a fine line between being a thief, or being a general good person.. Your situation could be a bit different from the op's..

Pfft... you really have no clue...

Minimum wage is for entry level jobs and people with no skills. You have been eligible to be in the work force for a minimum of 6 years, yet you are the one working for minimum wage. That is your fault and yours alone. Nobody owes you a "living wage".

I have a nibble because its getting thrown. I have a nibble because sometimes they make me work 5hrs without a break.

Awwwwww, a whole 5 hours? Wow, that must be rough.

Never bite the hand the feeds.

Your misplaced idealism of "getting back at the man" as "a wolf in sheep's clothing" is nothing more than a hollow justification for your being a flake and a liar, in addition to being a thief.

Furthermore, consider the ramifications of your actions in the future when you have others dependant on your income for food and shelter. You wont be so proud of yourself when you cant pay the rent or utilities after your fired and put in jail. All criminals get caught, some sooner and some later but none get away forever.

As others have said, it is ultimately the consumer who suffers from your lack of morals. The corporations still keep the same profit margins.

At the end of the day you are a part of the problem.

I'd like to add that I'm only replying to this post in hopes that others reading not be swayed OP's attempt to recast his/her deplorable behavior as somehow acceptable in a polite society.

Its a great idea and its been suggested, by myself atleast, But the company i work for will have none of it. They wont even give any of the waste to staff. It HAS to be thrown. They blame it on the "compensation culture" I.E, If someone eats one of their waste products and gets sick, they can be sued - Its ridiculious!
As for my situation, its classed as thieving by the company, however, i wouldnt really steal from any place i worked for.

Ethically I think it's wrong to steal from work. In the end it's like stealing from your coworkers, because you see to replace those things you have stolen, someone else may not get that raise or may even get laid off because the company loses money when you steal, and who is affected in the end is not the company (they always find a way to protect their bottom line and their A$$3$), but the employees. That being said, I wish to GOD there was a good way to steal from Big oil companies. I'd like to go to a gas station and steal gas and pay the Gas station owners cash and also have them claim the loss of the gas to the company, because I think they are the biggest swindlers on the planet (OIL Co's). But, alas, they are super protective of their precious petrol and are even screwing over the gas station owners. We all should get together and just steal the Big Oil's offshore financial accounts info and wire the monies to everybody equally!

It's never "OK" to steal from your employer and is grounds for immediate termination...With that said it is not entirely uncommon and employers are trained to look for the signs. You explained your reason for stealing, and it is the exact reason Psychologist say people do it. They are unhappy with their job, feel they are underpaid, and subconsciously justify theft as a way to appease this void.

My recommendation....find a job that you enjoy, go back to school in order to get a job you love, or stop stealing. If you think your jobs suck now, just wait until you find a dream job and get laughed at because you were fired for stealing from your previous employer.

Indeed, no one owes me a living wage. No one owes those chinese factory 14hrs a day slave labour workers a living wage either. Infact, i understand MY purpose in life now, That is simply to work 37.5 hrs a week, for a good 50yrs of my life, never having two pennys to rub together after ive paid my living expense's, being a burden on my family because i cant afford to keep myself. I'll never have nice holidays away from it all, i wont be able to afford to run a car to get me to and from work, I'll never enjoy life because the scam that is minimum wage forces me to be poor.
Buts its okay, the rich are sorted and thats all that matters. # me and my life, why should i be entitled to a happy meaningful existance??

Just because i work an unskilled job doesnt mean i deserve to barely be able to live. You make out like "I should have done better and now i'm laying in the bed i made for myself" Sweetheart, i'm a human being. I dont want to work 37.5 hrs a week for a wage that doesnt allow me any freedom. I didnt do to badly at school, i always turned up, hardly disrupted the class and had average grades. Couldnt get into uni. Dont tell me i deserve to be poor, A jobs a job and people should be paid a livable wage regardless of if your skilled or not. And while were at it, my tax money should provide better education for kids in the working class but it doesnt, the vicious cycle continues and as the old saying goes "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer"

Stealing is dishonable.

The only case senerio I can think of is if TSHTF and you came across a dead body and that deceased person no longer was in need of his/her shoes, food, water, coat etc - I would take their clothes and supplies and try to give them a burial................and say a blessing for their soul.

Stealing, lying, cheating, doing anything to another that you would not want done to yourself is wrong in my book.

Do unto others EXACTLY as you would have them do unto you.

A word of warning.................................Where I last worked at I found many hidden cameras.

I was raised not to steal so I don't steal. I didn't even steal from the company that outsourced my job to Team India.

I tell the truth, and that includes omission of the truth (same as lying).

As I told my grand daughter, you are either an honorable person or a dishonorable person.

I'm not a goody two shoes, it's just if everyone was honest, truthful and kind we wouldn't have the hell hole of a planet we have right now.
