Go Iceland! I have to take a trip there before its volcano erupts or it is declared a terrorist state by TPTB.

Maybe the Icelandic government deserves credit for putting it to a referendum but to say this was a courageous or defiant decision by the people is laughable. They were given the chance to vote in a referendum about whether they wanted to shoulder the burden of their bank's foreign debts and they said no. As would most people if consulted. Bit of no brainer...

Face it people, the stock market is SPECULATION. Its gambling at best, and a rigged game at worst. Deal with it. Sometimes when you gamble you lose.

If Britain or any country has a problem with free citizens refusing to voluntarily agree to cover their gambling losses, maybe they should regulate the casinos instead of trying to pawn off their debt on people who werent even in the game.

I just thought I would post this update since some of us wondered how long it would take before this happened.Im sure it is only mother nature but....




(Reuters) - Ash from an erupting Icelandic volcano could reach northern Scotland by Tuesday and parts of Britain, France and Spain by Thursday or Friday if the eruption continues at the same intensity, airlines were warned Sunday
