This is according to my lifetime...
I am 23 years old.

First they went after the terrorists;
but I was not a terrorist so I did not speak out.
Then they went after the Muslims;
but I am not a Muslim so I did not speak out.
Then they went after the drug users;
but I was not a drug user so I did not speak out.
Then they went after the trade unionists;
but I was not a trade unionist so I did not speak out.
Next they will go after the truthers;
but I am not a truther so I will not speak out.
And when they come for me,
there will be no one left to speak out for me.

Please feel free to add to or criticize this; I want to expand it and get it out to our people.
I want to give rise to Pastor Martin Niemöller's famous quote and parallel it to today.
