Why do we need the Oath Keepers?

Don't get me wrong, I am NOT saying we don't the Oath Keepers because we do! The question I am posing here is why has it come to the point that we do need them?

We shouldn't.

Here is what we should have.

Police, Military, Emergency Personnel etc....keeping your Oath. The Oath Keepers are just that. Keepers of the Oath they promised to uphold. We are only asking that you uphold the Constitution under which you have been sworn in. Nothing more and nothing less.

We ask you to realize that although there will come a time when you will be ordered to ignore your original Oath to us, your friends, neighbors and family, we need you to think for yourselves at this time.

We need you to understand that you DO NOT need to aid in the downfall of what our fore fathers fought against. Tyranny & Suppression.

We see SOME of you using brutal tactics, abusing your authority to arrest, search and seize our personal property with no warrants or justification other than a need to be seen as our superiors. You are not.

We have the videos, testimony and witnesses to these actions and we will not be ignored forever.

We ask you to understand that the Oath Keepers are doing exactly what YOU have sworn to do. So why are YOU not with them? It stands to reason that if you are not with them, you are against them and this in essence is YOU breaking your Oath.

We shouldn't need the Oath Keepers as a separate and opposing force to their brothers and sisters in arms. Why do these men and women have to be seen as outsiders to the same Oaths that you all promised to uphold?

I know some of you Non-Oath Keepers are reading this and I would like to introduce you to these modern day heroes. Here is a little info from their site and if you feel inclined, a link to the rest if you find yourself wanting to delve a little further.

Oath Keepers is a non partisan association of currently serving military, peace officers, fire-fighters, and veterans who will fulfill their oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Declaration of Orders We Will NOT Obey

Recognizing that we each swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and affirming that we are guardians of the Republic, of the principles in our Declaration of Independence, and of the rights of our people, we affirm and declare the following:

1. We will NOT obey any order to disarm the American people.

2. We will NOT obey any order to conduct warrantless searches of the American people, their homes, vehicles, papers, or effects -- such as warrantless house-to house searches for weapons or persons.

3. We will NOT obey any order to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to trial by military tribunal.

4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state, or to enter with force into a state, without the express consent and invitation of that state’s legislature and governor.

Agreed.

This is why we need EVERY Police Officer to join Oath Keepers.

Why wouldn't they?

the keepers protect

this is why

2+2 is still 4
and war is still not peace

We need the oathkeepers because it is a lot easier if the rabble rousers put their name
on a list for easy collection at a later time.
