Putting this from last post, since tis topic and important!

OBL could have been using adaptors, I know they are available in the US for EU outlets. And that would lead me to believe that they would have them for other (to) other outlets as well.

Though I have no proof, other than speculative evidence!

Again OPer, thank you for pointing this out!

Two power strips, while I have been looking at the power strip on the wall I completely missed the power strip on the floor.

OP I would not blame you for bailling out of this thread but, if you could offer a little more detail as to what you are seeing....

Sorry everybody,, my computer is messing up !! actually posted my thread twice wiyhout my knowing.

The outlet plugs are refered as type C that is used in Pakistan , they have round pins instead of the
square blades as in America , electricaloutlet.org...
