Both NaOH and KOH sorb CO2 from the air and form carbonates. Note that neither exist without some water as either prills or flakes, so careful storage is a necessity. They are readily purchased in small amounts from any lab supply company but you may need a commercial account. Be careful handling as they are really good at dissolving living tissue.
