Bound to various and sundry other elements and compounds which oxidize. Like carbon dioxide, from aerobic respiration in oxygen-breathing organisms, and burning of various fuels; carbon monoxide from burning various fuels; rust; etc.

When it comes to polution, believe it or not some of it is deliberate for reasons you might not be aware, and people in general are not.

For isntance in the late 1600's Cholera broke out in many colonial settlements in the North Eastern United States.

Some settlements were spared this happening and as early critical thinkers stepped back trying to figure out what the difference was that could have led to some settlements being decimated and others not, they arrived at the conclusion that settlements burning coal as fuel, verus wood for fuel were spared.

Early colonial leaders determined that burning coal as an energy and heating source would alter the atmopshere in a way that would limit or prevent the out breaks of cholera.

So an industry was born that exists to this day, based off of early scientific thinking.

We are inclined to think that the efforts to alter the atmosphere are ones hatched by pure greed or the desire to do evil, and while the science behind such thinking as evidenced above is far from absolute, the desire was to preserve life, not to limit or destroy it.

It was as little known back then as why the elites turned to coal as a heating and fuel source as it is today, in part because the elites typically don't believe the average person has a mind to know or care, and subsequently makes little effort to inform the masses, since they control enough of the resources and system that the masses rely on to the extent that they really don't need or have to, in order to meet their objectives and goals.

It's the fact that they can do that, that often makes us fear the worse as the outcome.

At the end of the day they have to breath the same air as we do, and in fact do.

Some food for thought.

In no way shape or form do I think all the man made polution and destruction of ecosystems is good, but it's not always done for the purely evil reasons some would imagine.

Thanks.
