With all the propaganda, hoaxes and 'baiters' penetrating every aspect of our daily lives, I would like to know what your favourite and most-reliable sources of news are. Unbiased information is near impossible to find, but corroborating reliable sources of news would be beneficial to all of us on these forums.

Where do you look for the facts?

. Besides Abovetopsecret, where is your reliable, well-presented news found?

David Icke is my news source.

Meaning, I think for myself and draw my own conclusion, just because you read something doesn't mean you should stop thinking.

Many times I say read this book or that book, they go instantly oh no hes a crack pot, I reply, oh you've read it then? They say no, then I reply again, I said read it, not stop thinking. They usually shut up.

I think we all should think for ourselves and draw our own conclusions..that is not even close to my point or OP.
I am seeking the collaboration of members in finding reliable news media.

Reliable? Honest? Not even the BBC ( as they like to claim ) is honest and impartial.

You are best picking news from all over the world not your own country and draw your own conclusion, preferably not one owned by a huge tycoon or one with a political agenda.

Try news papers from countries you never hear in the news. Read their international sections.

Thanks to you for the first honest answer to my OP yet, moogins

As I stated, I realize there isn't such a thing as unbiased media. But maybe if we can all find the best sources out of the mix we would see through the veil of propaganda that much easier (collectively speaking)

Are you a disinfo spy trying to find out which independant news sites to block, discredit or infiltrate to stop the truth coming out. Please don't sellout & be a patsy for the elitist scum.

I have come not to trust mainstream news, even through I watch it from force of habit. Since I obtained a computer about 10 years ago, I tend to go to other sources for my news these days, especially in these dark days we are all in now. My news sources are:
abovetopsecret.com...

www.bbc.co.uk...

www.americanfreepress.net...

www.drudgereport.com...

www.huffingtonpost.com...

english.aljazeera.net...

patriotportal.yolasite.com...

www.newdawnmagazine.com...

www.propagandamatrix.com...

www.infowars.com...

www.commondreams.org...

www.ap.org...

www.upi.com...

Quite the opposite my paranoid pal..

I am trying to find better sources of information. Period. I am not asking anyone to do, read or believe anything.
This thread was intended for sharing..if anything you are the one trolling by discrediting other members.
I want to shed as much disinfo and propaganda as possible..
This thread is in Deconstructing Disinformation for a reason.

But thanks for the vote of confidence.

@ autowrench: Thanks, a couple I have yet to check out!

Rule number one when trying to draw attention away from the question raised.
Discredit by trying to put labels upon them.

paranoid & trolling

Rule number two when trying to draw attention away from the question raised
Feign innocence or doing good for others' benefit.

You seem to fit the bill quite well.

Actually I peruse ATS first everyday to get the stories I know MSM won't probably cover. I like the Daily Show with john Stewart because he actually tells it like it is most of the time. I use several European sources also to get another view as well as the CBC and BBC

I bet you correct everyone's spelling and grammar too..
Other than defending myself and my position from your personal harangues, I have done nothing but ask for advice. I haven't even given an opinion or suggestion.. How do you propose one would use this thread for some nefarious plot against the masses?
give me a break.

I could say that you are that which you accuse me of being based on your posts..

Even though it would appear that on average most stories posted here are sourced from the "MSM"?
