A GROUP headed by al-Qaeda-linked operative Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi today said it had kidnapped two drivers from a Turkish firm in Iraq and threatened to behead them in 48 hours.

The death threat would be carried out unless the company pulled out of the country, according to a report on Al-Jazeera TV.

"The Jamaat al-Tawhid wa al-Jihad (Unification and Holy War group) in Iraq announced that it had abducted two drivers working for a Turkish firm which ferries goods to US forces in Iraq from Turkey," the Arab station reported.

Who would want to be a contractor/driver in Iraq at the moment. There needs to be more
armed escorts.

You know! This is getting old, what I don't understand is why these companies are allowing their workers to go around the country without protection and how in the heck these workers are putting themselves in harm's way when they accept to work in Iraqi knowing that they will become target to terrorist attack.

One more thing what our genius president has to said about a better and safer world.?

His entire campaign is geared toward this slogan.
