When Did You First Question What You've Been Told?

I knew I saw things a little differently by the time I was about seven and I refused to eat animals.

I was advised that it was okay to do so because it's their purpose.

My own children have never consumed the flesh of a fellow sentient being, nor do they wish to do so.

(And before anyone gets judgmental, please know I regard it as a personal choice.)
