Miami, Florida (CNN) -- Rescuers worked feverishly Friday to save a group of pilot whales who stranded themselves in shallow waters near the Florida Keys, officials said.

Very disturbing when these beachings happen. Could be just nature calling, but it could be a sign of something else. There have been some whale beachings prior to earthquakes, so I think this beaching should be noted. Also saw a thread today on Earthquake Cloud sightings in Indiana and Long Island by some of our ATS members.

Might not be much to discuss here....yet.

I must have been typing while you were posting. Oh well they can shut this down if they want.

I do wonder if there will be some tie in to this event i.e. a major earthquake in the midwest.

Guess there was a 5.2 off the coast in the general area today.
