Dead-Alien-Reptile-Thing

My friend sends me pictures from time to time to see if I know what it could be. I'm into these weird things and he indulges it.
An hour ago I received this odd looking thing from him, he received from an anonymous source called 'alien'.
While I have seen my fair share of hoaxes and strange animals, my first impression is this looks like a hoax, but I will give it the credit due and post it to see if anyone in there pursuit for the truth has run across this before. I did the normal search for it but came up empty on both the web and ATS.

I think, like an earlier thread I posted a few weeks ago, Dr. Frankenstein of taxidermy strikes again!
Unless these are the reptilian things everyone always talks about on here. . .

looks fake to me just because it looks like its alive

I saw that thing on Hellboy 2, it was called a 'tooth fairy'..at least, it looks like it:

Without a back story or a source its just a picture of something that could be anything .
Please ask your friend for more info , where he got it

Totally photoshopped.

Look at the shadowing of the background "surface". The arms produce a shadow and the legs don't.

What supports the head?

FAKE.

The body looks like a mummified rodent of some sort (rat?). The hands and head are obvious add-ons. You can even see the sketchy outline around the head. I saw this pick posted on weirdthings.org.uk a while back. Its a [mostly] real corpse with some CG touch ups.

Is it the momified remains of the big mouthed frog?

It's "nice" looking, but with such small feet, claws for hands and a big big mouth? It probably couldn't stand up or do much...

and to look at the picture and do no research to see wer it came from and who took the picture!
what if its real a little stowaway from a massive ship that landed to collect food,water,materials,elements,air
anything soil samples tests vistit lol but yea just saying use ur imagination and dont be so ignorant

I agree with you completely.
I don't need proof that odd things, including aliens exist, I just know they do - I call it faith based on knowledgeable assumptions.

As for this picture I believe it is a real corpse/mummy with some type of digital effect added to embellish it.
But I am not ruling out taxidermy, for there are specialists doing this sort of P.T.Barnum side show exhibits recently. See this ATS Link I posted about a weird fish which was a REAL fish made from parts of other animals.

Mummified..... thing.

Google "mummified creature" and you'll get a slew of these types of pictures.
I'm very open minded about strange creatures, I've even seen a couple of things I could've sworn were faeries, but the general rule of thumb is; if someone has a strange creature's corpse in their possession and they only release [one] picture of the thing, its very likely bs. Wouldn't you cover every angle of that thing? Get a picture of the inside of the mouth, get pics of the hands up close, etc? Just sayin.

I most definitely would.

And again, I was more interested in knowing what the artifact was, not that it was an alien or better yet reptilian!
Sorry, I am very skeptical of these things even though I am a firm believer in ET life.

Well, with the angular appearance of the "table" and the contrasting background, it appears to have been modeled, perhaps Maya or Truespace. Thanks for sharing.

The only reason i would say its fake is because it has to different "hands". Im fairly sure that any organic creature, from anywhere in the millions of universes of space, would have the omnipresence of symmetry in its design. it just seems like common sense. I could be wrong. But who ever made this thing wasnt thinking very much haha

Interesting share... looks like parts of different animals put together. Art project? Or if not, doesn't look like any earthly animal discovered before.

Not photoshopped. looks more like Poser to me.
Even the shadows look like a Poser rendering.
One can make any kind of figure with it.

Intesting point, though most crabs, lobsters and crayfish have claws of very different sizes. Just a thought seeing as it seems to have claws.
I do agree that it's a fake though.
