NOTES:
- Interestingly, one day dose at two sites 50Kms NW Fukushima gives a 3.6mSv, while smoking 1.5 packs a day for a year give ten times more, i-e 36mSv!
- The EPA yearly limit on radiation exposure to a member of the public is fixed to 1.000mSv which is two times lesser than the total amount of exposure per year from the natural background radiation, i-e 2.000mSv....

Thanks, I like the way that's laid out and the fact that you made the scroll bar appear is a nice touch.

See 4000 mSv: "survival possible with prompt treatment."

Anyone know what the prompt treatment entails? I didn't know treatment could do much for radiation exposure (aside from taking the iodine pills).

The only thing I can think of would be blood transfusions or stuff like that, but you're right-- the person who gets that kind of dose is pretty much screwed since it's going to hammer heart/brain/bones[marrow]/stuff you can't replace
