My question is if your body is completely annihilated by antimatter would it also destroy your soul?

If the soul exists I doubt it's made of matter, so - no.

Are you so sure? Even as you rot back into the soil the matter in your body is recycled by other forms of life and put back into the chain. If you are annihilated completely though perhaps something is truly lost. Or could it be that transforming so completely into energy would in fact grant you transcendence? May as well go out with a bang.

Everything is already energy in the form of mass.

Hoverboards would be cool, but I can't even ride a regular skateboard.

OK, this is semantics, but...the news article quoted in the OP stated that "everyone knows that gravity attracts matter" which is a very incorrect way of viewing it...matter is attracted to other matter via the force of gravity.

It may turn out that anti-matter exerts a negative or opposite gravitational force, which could repel "ordinary" matter.
