As reported in the NEIN HQ Alert, a nuclear threat to the US was thwarted in the last couple of months. Does this new evidence support this claim, or is it a feeble attempt to produce more business?

Could this be the proof of an underwater nuclear detonation?

The whole underwater nuclear detonation thing has totally debunked by a geologist over at FreeRepublic several days ago. Also, a nuclear device wouldn't even detonate anyway, it would be crushed by the pressure. The whole story is bogus.

Case closed.

I agree 100%. It seems our friends at NEIN are reaching again.

They also seem to be contridicting themselves. I thought that in the newsletter they stated that the sesmic charts for that area and time span were blank? But now all of a sudden they do exist?

The geologist that ranger mentioned stated that the activity on those charts show a "rolling" effect. An explosion would begin with a spike, and taper off. What NEIN is showing is the roll in.

Not definative proof in my mind.

Does this mean I shouldn't go swimming now?

No, No, godservant. It's safe. No huge rafts of floating dead cod.

But I'd watch out for those 100 foot waves...
