Yes, she is wonderful! I first heard her on the cold mountain soundtrack, then she was on the radio.

Christina Agulara has one of the most powerful voices on the planet. I don't particularly like much of her music, but her vocal talent can't be denied.

There are so many great women singers - it'd be hard to pick just one.

But without a doubt - male singers - Freddie Mercury. Incredible range, powerful and unique voice.

I would have given anything to have seen him in concert just once and to hear him sing "Who Wants to Live Forever.

On the matter of the angels' team...

Charlotte Church gets a mention.

But in the vocal department and in that field of human recognition for which CC has also received an award, you win hands down. There is no comparison. Tee hee.

Axl Rose- he has a very unqiue voice, which makes him differnt from the rest.
Freddy Mercury- Great voice and he was able to do alot with it.
Jim Morrison- One of the best voices in rock ever, 'nuff said.
Billy Joel- One of the best singers I have ever heard.
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley- Some may disagree but these two are able to sing a good rock song.
Willie Nelson- I may not be a fan of country, but he can sing and has a great voice.
Mick Jagger- Again a unique voice, who can sing.
Paul Mcartney
Alice Cooper

Lots of good names have already been mentioned....so, Here's a few of my favs...I lost my first reply, so I hope I remember them all:

Janis Joplin - "Ball and Chain"
Ray Charles - "Georgia On My Mind"
Stevie Wonder - "I Just Called To Say I Love You"
Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) - "I Believe in a Thing Called Love"
Diana Krall - "The Look of Love"
Steven Tyler - "Dream On"
James Taylor - "Something in the Way She Moves"
Simon & Garfunkel - "Boxer"
Doug Martinez & Nick Hexum (311) - "Amber"
Maria Callas - "L'Amour Est Un Oiseau Rebelle"
Niel Young - "Heart of Gold"

I like all of these for their vocal peformances....either they're just truly stunning (Maria Callas, Janis Joplin), you can just tell that the words have worn heavy on their hearts (Niel Young, James Taylor), and/or they just plain sound awesome (The Darkness, 311). I could go on for days with other songs I love the vocals to, but this will do for now
