Who do you think has the best singing voice?
You can do this however you want..
By genre..
By gender..
By decade..
or just pick one person in general.

Im picking a lady who I just heard of tonight, and her voice is absolutely amazing (At least to me, but what do I know, im a Godless sodomite lol)

Enya.

Freddie Mercury of Queen. Listen to any Queen song and you'll see what I mean.

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.

Bard Nowell of Sublime.

Whoa! I almost forgot Ringo Starr.

BR, a person of taste and discernment. No one is more recognizable than Freddie.

Also Ted Neeley. Check out Jesus Christ Superstar. This guy can wail.

I also head over heels for John Rszenik... Goo Goo Dolls frontman...excellent.

Oh! And Ace Enders...The Early November. But the best CURRENT male voice would have to be (I don't know his name) but the man who is The Mountain Goats. It's just one guy, and I don't know his name...dag yo!

Females are a little harder......I would say Bjork, Alanis Morisette, or Mellissa Etheridge.

* Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden & Solo)
* Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits & Solo)
* Frank Sinatra (Obvious!)
* Joe Elliott (Def Leppard)
* Jon Bon Jovi (Bon Jovi & Solo)
* James Hetfield (Metallica)
* Matchbox 20 lead singer.
* Goo Goo Dolls lead singer.
* Jimmy Eat Worlds lead singer.

I can think of loads I could say.

To hear a good example of Bruce Dickinson; listen to Iron Maiden - No More Lies.

The rest... Any song is a good example. I can say the same with Bruce Dickinson, but I think No More Lies is one of their best songs ever - a modern day classic.

I also just recently realised Nelly Furtado had an amazing voice, when I heard I song of Jurassic 5 where's she's featuring. The song is called "Thin Line". I just love the sound of that women's voice.

I can't believe someone named Eminem. I mean, I liked some of his songs, but I think he have the most annoying voice in all the hip hop industry. He sounds like his voice haven't moulted yet lol...

Yup, seems like Miss Furtado has a following on here...

Norah Jones has a voice that I really like. I play her CD when I take the cats to the vet, it seems that her voice can calm all 3 of them.

And the guy that played the Phantom at the Broadway showing of Phantom Of The Opera when I went, sorry I don't have a name right now, but his voice was just tremendous...

My vote is for Charlotte Church, while she isnt in the mainstream and sings more classical works her voice is that of an angel.
