According to most facts in the media, only Blackhawk helicopters were used in the Bin Laden raid.
But according to this article from Fox News, it may be possible that a spy helicopter (possibly made by DARPA) was used in the raid. But the article does not mention DARPA.

See for yourself. The body design is definately made by DARPA. I can just tell by looking at its design.

And compare the rotor assembly to the photos here as well to the ones by Fox and Reuters.

I have lots to research here....

it looks like the end of the tail boom
on some New stealth arse tail rotor with
the synchronized elevators still attached

I bet it looks more like a conventional Helo
with some type of Hush capability's
[ that is before its packed with C-4 & detonated
]

They were the first FSD group in testing with good results. Northrup Grumman makes them.
Someone with the acronym shortly...

I bet DARPA was in this project deal as well since DARPA is a contractor for Northrup....Or, vice versa...

Like I said
before knowing the Silent Hawk existed

Conventional Helo with Hush Kit

that thing you linked to doesn't look air worthy

but then again neither does the Osprey

so what do I know...
