Photos show three dead men at bin Laden raid house

(Reuters) - Photographs acquired by Reuters and taken about an hour after the U.S. assault on Osama bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad in Pakistan show three dead men lying in pools of blood, but no weapons.

The photos, taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound after the early morning raid on Monday, show two men dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths.

The official, who wished to remain anonymous, sold the pictures to Reuters.

Hopefully some pictures will be released and not through the authorization of the White House.

I feel like if Osama is indeed dead, killed this past weekend by our Special Warfare operators, pictures will eventually get leaked.

I also think that pictures do exist outside of what the White House holds. It's just a matter of time and money that'll release these pictures.

I did see the photos but none of the were bin Laden. Equally pretty sight though.

Someone else said that in their time zone it would have been like 1 something AM on the 2 of May. For us, still May 1.

These were taken about an hour after the raid. Osama bin Laden's body was long gone by then.

Is that a green water gun that's almost underneath one of the corpses? lol!! yep, they were 'armed' indeed.

Hmm, those pictures are pretty "brutal". If they can release those, then why not the ones of OBL?
