Finding habitable worlds with the new generation of space telescopes

To my knowledge the cause & effect of Hutchinson Effect is still VERY unknown. How it works, how to control it etc. Heck, they still can't even create the effect reliably. They just start all the machines and wait around for something weird to happen. But it most definately does cause some VERY strange events. It defies explanation how a chunk of wood can literally embed itself in a white hot peice of metal and not so much as even get scorched. As for the levitation effects it's known to cause, your guess is as good as anyone elses. Ion winds, magnetism, who knows.
