So do you think the judge in this video is out to get Obama?

Napolitano?
He is not exactly a neutral guy.

. . .

Damn right. He is a STRICT Constitutionalist.

Loads better than being left, right, or neutral.

I got to agree tho when I didnt know what that meant it scared me too.
I mean Ron Paul used to give me the heebejeebes until I started listening to him and read a couple of his books. Dont agree with all of it. I think a constitution should be rewritten every generation and Im a bit of a socialist. Feed the poor medicare education should be universal heck natural resources should be nationalized like they did in Libya so they could provide free housing to all their people and much more.
But even a strict constitutionalist/capatalist government would be a lot better as long as they were accountable. Certainly better than the fascist regime currently ruling.

Combine the Judge with Reverand James Manning and you the best legal, civil rights heros of our time...just in time to stop Bush, Obama destruction of America!
My dream is to see all the players in GITMO for a trial of all time.
Pray this happens very, very soon!!

Lol that would be epic

but I think everyone would be happy enough if the people at the top actually started representing them....
Still justice for the criminals currently running things is something worth hoping for.

Outside at the White House and at Ground Zero I saw young and old come together to cheer an American success. One a long time coming. I saw people of all colors and political ideologies. I saw Muslims, Christians and Jews, all American, out in full force whereas on any other day we'd all be demonizing each other for politics and god knows what else.

Maybe not all of us...but what I saw was a representation of the Unity that is still at the heart of Americans despite ten years of divisive BS.

I agree, that is what I saw as well. The only problem with that is that this country is supposed to be governed by the rule of law, not the whim of the mob. This reminds me of the end of the Roman Republic, when the mob clamored for a dictator. Congratulations; we now have one.

So, if you post something on ATS and become an enemy of the state.
You would be ok with BarryO knocking on your door and double tapping you "for freedom"?
Would this be ok if it was a friend or family member?
A wrong is a wrong, and we done tied too many together....again.

Where are you people getting these ridiculous interpretations of what I write?

This guy is a legitimate military target. He was so before the powers the president assumed for himself to kill American citizens.

That does NOT mean I'm ok with the president assuming powers to kill American citizens. I AM, however, ok with The president directing the military to kill legitimate military targets. Of which Osama is one.

Stop trying to twist this issue into something it's not.

Edit to add:

I was one of the few to try to create a larger discussion over the powers you accuse me of supporting some time ago:

A REAL bi-partisan issue: The Assassination of American Citizens

The constitution specifically gives our government the right to assassinate anyone outside the us

I did not celebrate that OBL was killed, but i damn well wasnt sad. OBL was the leader of a Terrorist group, he was considered a World terrorist, he was a mass murder...and i think people are upset that the USA had the balls to take that bastard out. And for the first time, i agree with Obama. I haven't seen people bitch and complain when other terrorist were killed.

Oh?

Quote that part of it please.

I know of one provision in the Constitution to capture enemies of the state, as well as American citizens in the constitution through privateering means. It's called the letter of Marque and Reprisal.

Out side of that there are no provisions in the Constitution that, as YOU say, "Specifically" give the authority to the government to assassinate heads of state or anyone.

Military targets are a different story.

You don't try military targets in court.

You kill and destroy them.

Yeah! lets accuse me of being a fascist because I don't agree with your stupid interpretations of what a military target is!

No proof exept his confession.

A tape aired by Al-Jazeera television Friday showed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden admitting for the first time that he orchestrated the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks and saying the United States could face more.

He can grant letters of marque and reprisal. In modern terms, he can kill whomever he wants to. It's in the constitution.

I guess you've never heard of false confessions. Even a confessor must be proven guilty in court.

That's true if he's an American citizen and has not openly declared war on the US.

As I have said to some of my colleagues here with a short attention span. Osama bin Laden has been a military target, legitimately, since the bombings of the USS Cole, the Kenyan US Embassy bombings an a slew of other bombings. All before Sept. 11 2001.

Again, you don't try a military target in court. You kill him.
