This is of course not confirmed.

The news is like an accusation of rape.

Once the accusation is made nothing stops that from making it true.

While the death of the current bad guy is on every ones mind, the question of why tell people of his death and what is gained from it, would come from an unlikely source, The Art of War. To wage war or any armed conflict, there has to be the will of the people to keep going. It is the people who provide the man power and resources required for such, and it is ultimately those who need to be kept happy, for there to be a victory. The likely death of Bin Laden, is as much of a moral booster for the US, as support for the current engagement in Afghanistan is slowly dwindling down, to where they could no longer justify remaining there. Think about it, you have a population that is tired of the armed conflict, their support both in the areas of production, manpower and politically is slowly eroding away, what better way to stem that tide than to announce and show that you have killed the leader of such. While there will be controversy and questions as to the validity no one is stopping to ask, who what how did such happen or demanding proof. The proof has to be irrefutable, and beyond a shadow, for those who question such, and right now any one who would trust their own government to provide such is not acting wisely. So he is dead, big deal. If it is true, then what have we gained in the long run? Nothing, as all it did was make him into something far greater, a martyr, and now it is going to be a rough road ahead for the US, and its allies, as those who revere this individual will be out for blood. If burning the Qur’an was thought to be bad, it is going to be worse with the death of one person, as now there is a person that the extremists can venerate and be more fanatical about. Retribution will come.

The distrust of the US Government goes well beyond the people of he ME. Even some people right here at home are having a tough time believing OBL is dead and rightfully so.

We had no issue posting Saddam's picture on TV prior to his death to prove we had him in custody. We took no issue with posting the pictures of Saddam's dead children for the whole world to see. This should be no different. OBL is the big fish according to the US Government. He masterminded the death of thousands. Yet people are expected to take the word of a political system that has been caught lying more times than I care to count? It just does not add up.

When they released a statement saying Nuclear Hellfire would be unleashed if they captured or killed Osama, why did he not move and hide somewhere else, it is obvious they knew they where comming.

Reminds me of the Fort Hood shooting with multiple accounts of what happened, this is what happens when there's too many holes in a story.

Interesting you mention the Fort Hood story. It reminds me of this incident which happened a couple of days before the latest Bin Laden made for TV production. In this incident, an Afghan pilot allegedly killed 8 armed American military troops.

Do you really think one pilot can killed 8 armed and trained American military troops? Is this story somehow related to the latest Bin Laden charade? Did these 8 guys who were killed have information about this latest Bin Laden garbage fed to the masses? Were they taken out because they refused to play ball?

Immediately after the shooting, the military announced the pilot who killed these 8 American troops was not a terrorist. How did they determine this so quickly? Obviously, for some reason, this story was shut down very quickly and its timing, coming right before the Bin Laden BullFrog story is quite suspicious. Regardless, this latest Bin Laden fairy tale is as believable as a Kindergarten play.

Not just since 9/11.

Not only that but he was on our payroll during the 70's and 80's in Afghanistan.

So, that being said, how many possible body doubles could he or anyone buy since then?

Saddam Hussein was alleged to have had 6 different body doubles.

A body double can pass muster with facial recognition.

Especially when not going through conventional means to harass an enemy.

This just means the usual sources of funding, resources, and communication are not open.

There is an entire black market out there for anyone intelligent enough to find it.

B. No Photographs
C. No independent witnesses.

Keep pretending you have something concrete to base absolutes on, at 4.00 per gallon for gas, record unemployment, a treasury 14 trillion in debt, and the dollar eroding along with your purchasing power at the grocery stores, and a huge homeland security apparatus spying on you, how has that been working out for you trusting in the US Government.
