White House modifies Osama bin Laden account (Didn't happen as said yesterday-Made OBL a Hero figur

The White House backed away Monday evening from key details in its narrative about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, including claims by senior U.S. officials that the Al Qaeda leader had a weapon and may have fired it during a gun battle with U.S. forces.

Officials also retreated from claims that one of bin Laden’s wives was killed in the raid and that bin Laden was using her as a human shield before she was shot by U.S. forces.

At a televised White House briefing Monday afternoon, Deputy National Security Adviser John Brennan said bin Laden joined in the fight that several residents of the Abbottabad, Pakistan, compound put up against the Navy SEALs during the 40-minute operation. “He [bin Laden] was engaged in a firefight with those that entered the area of the house he was in. And whether or not he got off any rounds, I quite frankly don’t know,” Brennan said.

At a Pentagon briefing earlier in the day, a senior defense official said bin Laden used a woman as a human shield so he could fire shots. “He was firing behind her,” the official said.In another background briefing early Monday morning, a senior administration official also said bin Laden put up a fight. “He did resist the assault force. And he was killed in a firefight,” the official said.

However, during a background, off-camera briefing for television reporters later Monday, a senior White House official said bin Laden was not armed when he was killed, apparently by the U.S. raid team. Another White House official familiar with the TV briefing confirmed the change to POLITICO, adding, “I’m not aware of him having a weapon.” “The bottom line is the team that entered that room was met with resistance and took appropriate action,” said a third American official.

Which to me, looks like a staged photo (now that we see these conflicting stories coming out of that room)

Sounds like to me they tried to cover up the fact Osama was UN-armed. etc. in fear of how it would go down with the Muslin.

Who cares? Why did they try to make him sound like a hero?

S&F my man! I started a thread talking about how he was treated unfairly, and not because i was concerned, just because i read it, and i thought well if he was treated wrong before burial, than it DID HAPPEN! but unfortunately no video of fair or unfair treatment, no video of the raid which we were told they watched unfold! How many Americans simply were not found in the trade centers because they simply were pulverized, I am sure our stomachs and hearts can handle seeing Whatever they can throw at us when it comes to getting this wacko!

After all my years as a natural born citizen of the US, I can tell you two things about the government that is always true.
One, if the government is speaking it is a lie, the US government is incapiable of telling the truth on anything. The government always has a hidden agenda. The only thing they tell you is what they want you to believe.

Second, never trust a liar.

Dam, I didn't even think of it like that. You are right though- he was unarmed, ill, and never publically indicted or covicted.

According to the DEMS, pre- 2008, the whole thing was an inside BUSH/CHENEY Ordered job...

So.

Maybe it is time for some REAL war protestors. Not the fake ones drummed up by the Dems/Liberals/Socialist etc. True Americans. I don't want any more of our soldiers killed over there... especially under the orders of this Liar.

It was only on the screen for mere seconds. You couldn't tell if it was a live shot, an old one and there was no real purpose for it being added when it was. Never the less, it did show the flag at half mast.

It's one thing when they want things secret/hidden/unknown but its another thing when you have all this editing going on and badly done like if they hired 10yr olds to work photoshop or whatever. All of this fakery is screaming out "got you again" and "again" with every new picture
