oh, i thought this thread was a sarcastic poke at America.....but i see you are serious,
, im out of here.

p.s. Its UNITY of the world population that would make all countries great as a collective, your comment about being the greatest country is the typical american attitude that fails on a world stage.

Selfishness will get no-one anywhere.

I made my point because you all stand in defense of communism. Not anybody stands for america!

But I say some things and you all get defensive.

No one stands for justice, but the one who dares to speak.

Words cant hurt you. But they can set the record straight.

The US was the greatest country on earth - what happens when people are allowed social, religious and economic freedom - it rose from nothing to become the most powerfull, exciting and prosperous nation on earth - but now it is like a vigorous plant overwhelmed with parasites and predators.

The U.S. Government refuses to live within its means. Such is the message we hear, again and again, from all sides. But why can't the state lower its spending? Quite simply, because we now believe that government should do everything. In other words, the liberal ideal of limited government has all but disappeared. In fact, liberalism has disappeared; and those who call themselves liberals today are socialists.

William Henry Chamberlin (1897-1969), having lost his faith in socialism, summed up the experience of his generation as follows: "socialism is ... the road not to freedom, but to dictatorship and counter-dictatorships, to civil war of the fiercest kind." In respect of this statement, those with limited historical knowledge or experience probably won't understand Chamberlin's statement. Yet there is nothing to understand except the fact that socialism is incompatible with freedom, incompatible with peace, and incompatible with prosperity. If you want to understand why the United States government cannot live within its means, consider the fact that socialists have been mass-produced at our universities and schools for many years now.

Socialists have taken over education in America. And look what they have wrought in our midst. When the back of the economy is broken by socialism, what will we have? Dictatorship and/or civil war. But who has the wisdom to see this eventuality? "The most important event in the history of the last hundred years is the displacement of liberalism by etatism," wrote Ludwig von Mises several decades a

We aren't actually defending communism. We simply don't like capitalism, or your way of showing "national pride". Not to mention, your description of communism is COMPLETELY bias and non-factual. I actually support a more open and less competitive type of system, things like the resource based economy model look promising. It has nothing to do with a totalitarian government, it's the exact opposite, where useless positions of power are removed all together. It works by the idea of "sharing is caring", instead of "crush the competition". If you think people are simply too greedy to work for free, and share their output for free, then you are mistaken and trapped in a single frame of mind. Just look at open source technology, people dedicate enormous amounts of their time on highly technical projects all for free. In fact, the majority of websites are completely reliant on open source technology.

Jingoism, it sounds like a funny word but describes the nature of this thread to a tee.

Colloquially, it refers to excessive bias in judging one's own country as superior to others – an extreme type of nationalism
