They knew where he was this hole time. Need to save his demise for Obama, to boost his chances of re-election.

Why didn't Georgi-pie do it then??

It would have made him a hero after all his previous screwu-ups, might even have gotten JMcC elected.

Sounds like a pretty weak line of reasoning you have there tbh.

Absolutely a wonderful Freudian typo, 'hole' time: a hole card to buy our
POTUS a few ratings points. How many times, and closely together in the
recent memory of a poisoned fifth grader, can TPTB say "We got him",
and they expect to get away with it?
I starred the reply because Benadir Bhutto bumping her head on a sunroof
was a necessary sweeping of truth under the rug. Moreover and as another
chilling example to the other puppets; I didn't care at all for Milosevik's
methods while he was in there-- but when your soup gives you a 'heart attack'
after you pass notes to an aide from the Hague jail saying they're trying to
poison you, it shows blatantly that THEY consider your credibility as a singer
a liability.
Too much of a ramble, sorry.
They should give up before Barry's approval numbers permanently dip under
Harry Truman's.
Finally, news of a bad guy that was never indicted [getting it] isn't going to
cover the taste of what sandwich we're all getting to bite into lately.
Pass the "I Can't Believe It's Not Axle Grease", this frankenfurter's a dry one.

The problem was that we use infinitely high-end data sorting, which does nothing for us if there is no leakage of data in the target's network.

For example - you can have a transceiver that picks up any electric signal known to man, but if two people talk face-to-face without electronics nearby, that million dollar toy may just as well be doorstop.

Closed, face-to-face networks are going to be less leaky than electronic data transmission, it may be that the flow of data per second is slower per human courier, but the security of the data package is guaranteed and that apparently was more important than having speed.

Looking at the articles, al-Kuwaiti's leak of using a cell phone to talk to someone is what set the intel hounds on OBL and caught him finally. If he'd stuck to his security protocols and not lapsed by saying Carnivore's keywords, (you know, the data program that monitors cell phones for certain keywords) than OBL would not have had a compromised data system.

Lets face it, though. OBL's death was better done there and buried at sea than held alive, where lawyers and pundits could talk crap and sway the public. This way, he's done and that's that. There's our story, and the dead guy's story.

The amount idiocy of people reporting the story is interesting to say the least. But regardless, this will be a " tale " for decades to come!

He was not killed a week ago. He was killed Sunday.

Misinformation I see is still quite prevalent.

NYT, Tues., May 3, 2011-- The hunt for OBL, was called "Operation Cannonball"

"The code name for Bin Laden was 'Geronimo' "

"Prisoners in American custody told stories of a trusted courier. When the Americans ran the man's pseudonym past two top-level detainees--- the chief planner of the Sept. 11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed; and Al Qaeda's operational chief, Abu Faraj al-Libi--- the men claimed never to have heard his name. That raised suspicions among interrogators that the two detainees were lying and that the courier probably was an important figure."

U.S. spy drones recorded a tall Arabic type man walking inside OBL's compound, some days before the American attack.

The U.S. attack was launched from a base in Jalalabad, just across the border in Afganistan.

"In Pakistan, it was just past a moonless midnight, on Monday morning, and the Americans were counting on the element of suprise." That's when the attack on OBL began.

"The commandos found Bin Laden on the third floor, wearing the robes known as shalwar kamiz, and officials said he resisted before he was shot above the left eye near the end of the 40 minute raid.

"Islamist organizations tend to be hierarchical, making Ayman al-Zawahri, second in command, making him clear heir apparent."

"Even with Mr. Zawahri on the run, experts stressed that killing proponents of jihad is far easier than killing the ideology itself and that Al Qaeda's ideas will persist as long as the dire political and social circumstances that created them persist."

" 'The question for Zawahri will be: Can Al Qaeda transmit its message in the absense of Bin Laden to the next generation of fighters?' said Lt. Col. Reid Sawyer, the director of the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point."

They took this long to "find and kill" Bin Laden because the Pakistani Government was negotiating for more money to go along with this latest scam.

People in the area love him.

Some of his neighbors are upset he was killed.

NYT, Tuesday, May 3, 2011

"One Pakistani security analyst said Bin Laden might have moved to the unlikely hiding place, only about 35 miles from Islamabad, because foriegn spies would have been unlikely to be able to pry into a town with high-level military installations. The site would have also kept Bin Laden out of the range of American drones, which could not venture so far into Pakistan, away from the tribal areas where the armed aircraft patrol, killing many militants."

"Abbottabad, Pakistan, where OBL was hiding, bears the name of Sir James Abbott, a British Army officer, who founded it during British colonial rule over India, almost a century before the creation of the state of Pakistan."

"Abbottabad, known for its educational and medical institutions, remained peaceful and there were no protests. The main shopping areas were open and people seemed to go about their lives as if nothing had happened to warrant global headlines."

The luxury part to describe it comes in because...most people thought he was living in harsh caves somewhere in the region, therefore suffering. Obviously in the compound, there was food, running water, a bed to sleep in and most other comforts of a "non cave" living situation. Not to mention the compound was big, how could the Pakistani government miss monitoring compound nearby to their headquarters.

What I find the best part about this news is?
We spent some time looking for saddam, a guy who should have been found hiding in a mansion somewhere,
Instead they found that guy in a hole- at an old farm.
Yet, the guy who was supposedly hiding in in caves was hiding in a mansion in another country.
Im sorry but- if this doesn't prove to everyone that these wars are not what they are portrayed as they are than a little another drop of hope has faded

When they got Saddam they were so concerned that the world - in particular Iraq would not believe them that they showed him off to the world minus his dignity as they felt the world needed proof of his capture.

Remember also Sadddam was a Muslim too - Why didn't they bury him at sea. Why didn't they use this non Islamic method for him.

Also - If, as they are now say - Bin laden was unarmed - Why the hell didn't they capture him. What better proof to the world that they had him. Didn't American survivors of 9/11 deserve that? This man who has been supposedly hunted for 10 long years is standing in his bedroom unarmed - they manage to get into the Country apparently undetected and secretly land next to a Pakistani Military Base but they couldn't stun and capture an unarmed 54 year old man?

I've never heard such BS in all my life and anyone who believes this fairy tail has got to have learning disabilities.

I have lived in Pakistan and believe me - if Bin Laden had been in that house there is no way that the local community would not have known it. They didn't know it because - he simply wasn't there. These people have such a culture that their neighbours even know how much they earn - how much their house cost to build - how often they go to Mosque - what family they have - who are their friends. But they didn't know he was there.

And as for the high walls. They all have them.
