What about the people that cheered when America was bombing Iraq and killing thousands of Civilians?

Touche, Serizawa.

Oh and here come all the high and mighty attitudes.

Thinking they're above human nature.

Thinking they're above everyone else because they can sit behind a keyboard and judge others.

I don't know about those people.

I was in the anti-Iraq war camp.

On that note, I would like it if you'd back up those claims with video evidence.

Then you should know that death is not something to be celebrated.

Edit: Video evidence! Hahaha you gotta be kidding me right? I watched them cheer first hand!

No I'm not kidding you.

Provide the evidence or it's just hearsay.

I backed up my claims to eNumbra with video evidence.

If this cheering was so wide spread surely there's evidence of it somewhere right?

I wasn't in the ANTI-WAR movement. I was against the IRAQ war.

I'm also not against killing Americas enemies.

What angers me is that when the towers went down and they were all celebrating in the streets, we called them animals. Then I turn the news on this morning, and AMERICA is doing the same thing. I guess I can see it from both points, but I just didn't expect to see it, that's all.

You are on ATS, you have heard the stories of the dancing Jews on 9/11, I am simply asking to read an article that debunks the dancing Jews story. Not because I want "proof," but because I thought it would be interesting to read.

Except we're celebrating the death of a man who ordered the killings of INNOCENT people.

One man, one evil man.

And somehow that makes us the same as the Palestinians who cheered as the news of the Twin Towers falling came to them?

Apples and oranges.

Some deaths are... It may not be PC to say, but C'est la vie ... another of the world's bad-guys gone. No tears shed, here.

I would like to see evidence. Arrest records of it. (I've seen the stories).

I have yet to see anything other than hearsay about it.

Tell me, oh better than everyone-one, how should we celebrate victories such as this?

reply to post by projectvxn

You celebrate however you want. It was an impressive military operation. I'm not saying im better than anyone, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to strive a little higher than the level of jingoism on display. But thats just me.

I was illustrating that the people in Gaza have TWICE danced in the streets over the murder of innocent people.

9/11 was one, the Fogel family was the other.

To the Palestinians, the Fogels were not innocent. The Fogels were living on land (Itamar) that was taken from Awarta village in 1984. And Mr. Fogel is an officer of the IDF.

Itamar settlement

Yes this man should be brought to justice...And even death.

But when you cheer over someones life, whoever thay may be...It kinda makes me think:/ As bad as them maybe?

ps: And I'm from the UK not the US...but does that really matter?

Unfortunately, 9/11 was not the doings of only one man. I think that's what everyone is forgetting. There was more than just one man involved in the planning and executing. Am I happy that they got him? Absolutely. Do I feel an overwhelming relief? Absolutely Not. This isn't over. This is just one in a line of many.

The bad guys are on both sides of the fence, The bad guys are posting and reading on ATS, The bad guys are your neighbours! Do you think the death of one bad guy will really make a difference? If anything it will create more "Jihad".
