This will never ``fly`` for the sheeple.

The ``birther`` issue has just died, along with ``criticizing`` most of what Obama is doing. Remember post-9/11? Questioning Bush was like drowning a baby. It's about to happen again. And it is disgusting.

Forget also reopening a true investigation about 9/11.

I bet even hardcore neo-cons/republicans will now lick the boots ``of the hero who killed America's nemesis``...

It is not about democrat/republican, it's now about the cult of personality, the cult of leaders, the cult of war heroes.

Or maybe I'm totally wrong, but from what I'm reading around the internet and forums, lots of republicans now love Obama. Liberals love him even more than before... if that's possible.

Hopefully this madness will be short lived.

Perhaps a new "united" states is something we need. Divisiveness has not exactly helped us accomplish much recently, has it? Maybe they'll actually get something done out there in washington. Of course, it won't seem like a good thing to those folks who already hate Obama. I don't consider myself republican or democrat. I judge our leaders by the actions... it just seems like the only action that's been going on is a lot of mudslinging.

Obama is a "born-again Neocon" declared William Kristol:

I think 2012 could be a realigning election in American politics. We have had several before, they each ended the previous party system, but please know that this is not a guarantee.

First Party System
1792-1824
Second Party System
1828-1854
Third Party System
1860-1892
Fourth Party System
1896-1928
Fifth Party System
1932-1968, 1932-1976, or 1932-??

This event doesn’t necessarily guarantee Obama the election but for the next 6 months we will see a dramatic rise in his poll numbers, just as the 2012 campaign season is set to begin. I think it will provide Obama with the perfect opportunity of uniting Democrats and Neoconservative and some Social Conservative Republicans and Independents around his campaign though. The more Liberal Democrats, Fiscal Conservative Independents, and Tea Party Republicans will have to fill the opposition. We can see this as Obama gaining a lot of ground in the South, put it that way. With the Southern gains he would lose support in the Northeast and upper Midwest.

If this is what occurs where the Republican candidate which emerges is not a Neoconservative then we will see all of the Neocons returning to the party from whence they came, the Democratic Party. For example, if Ron Paul was to win the nomination he would unite those in opposition to the war and the fiscal conservatives. At the same time Obama will be building his coalition especially considering this developing event with Osama bin Laden and the debt ceiling debate, both of which will win the Democrats support from Neocons.

So it is not a guarantee for Obama rather I see it as the formation of an all new coalition which we will not see until at least the end of this year/beginning of primaries.

Bin laden is dead, but we still fight the war on terror. In short...

Nothing changed. Bin Ladens death is meaningless.

There's evidence that suggest Obama's been dead for years, all you have to do is see his last videos that were obviously CGI. This is definitely a ploy to keep Obama's ass in the White-House. Looks like we can forget Ron Paul being elected.

it was done on purpose, heres my theory, not only was the date a part of a ritual but he annonced this during an extremely low approval rating while being under fire about various crap, too much to count, but he needed this edge during his latest campaign to boost voter confidence, theres alot of people who dont even believe bin laden was anything but a fabled enemy created by bush and cheney to usher in this war, obamas hangin by a thread, desperate,so im gonna call bullspit show me the body, even the story about how they nabbed him was cinematic, about how he used a woman as a shield until he was taken down,i mean come on,are people that fixed on television fantasy that they believe this rediculous crap, and even if they do show pics of the body it will be just as fradulent as his long form,i dont buy into any of that crap anymore, its all pure evil, whats really going on is a bunch of diversions as they usher in the anti christ

He'll be removed from office either in 2012 or 2016 depending on whether or not he wins the next election...

If he stays in office longer than that, then I will start to cry foul.

I'm having difficulty understanding your post. Are you upset that Osama is dead because it means a political victory for a party you oppose? That seems like selfish reasoning to me. It's just like being mad at Obama because he appropriated federal aid to people who need it in Alabama. One way or another it's good for the American people, so let's try and put the partisan bullcrap aside for a few minutes, shall we?

As for the other points you brought up, I don't think it's going to make a big difference. Obama didn't personally kill Osama. He just happened to be president while it happened. Is it fortunate for his administration? Sure. Does it mean he's going to get a pass on everything? I would guess not.

I guarantee, come tomorrow most conservatives are still going to hate Obama. He will still catch flak for being 'Kenyan' (
). He will still be a 'socialist'. I don't necessarily think this is going to be a major factor in his approval ratings. If it is, it just shows how irrational and short-sighted the American people can be. We shouldn't even be in the Middle East in the first place...

the President said to come together like we did after 9/11. Just this time it's to re-elect him!
Your right...how can you remove him now? Bush's entire presidency was "dedicated" to catching/killing him. Now Obama's killed him in around 1/4th of the time Bush spent looking for him.

It's funny, you don't get it at all do you???

It is actually not a love for Obama, it is a hatred for those who persecute Obama politically.

That is the truth right there...

If neocons feign loving Obama, they can drive liberals away... If Obama's supporters go nationalistic it will turn off
the base it is like the choice between the pox and AIDS

Credit goes to the CIA.
All the potus did was say ok.
We've known he was in Pakistan for years.

I have a problem with the WH saying OBL would be treated in tradional Islamic fashion which requires burial within 24 hours. This makes the conspiracy hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I'm just having a hard time dealing with this being announced on the same day as Hitler was announced dead, 66 years later. I don't believe in coincidences.
WTH is going on? my head is spinning.

Just my own theory here, but Im thinking they have been holding Bin Laden in a prison cell somewhere for who knows how long, waiting for the perfect time to exploit his death for full political gain.

Who's to say they didnt just shoot him dead in some back room at Gitmo and staged a fake assault in Pakistan to make it look like some heroic, well planned military operation?

This way they can kill him whenever convenient (like election time, when approval at all time low) then produce the body and make it look like Obama was responsible for some awesome military extraction scenario. How would we know if anything at all happened in Pakistan?

Think about it.

He will always be known as the president who got bin laden, bringing some sense of closure to 9/11, and the first black president. He is a made man, his legacy is set.

There will be no question about it, the issue in my opinion, if such is considered as such, is a non issue.
