While your made up characters are fun to read... why is it anti-american to care about iraqi and afghani civilians dying so our military industrial complex can profit. Since when is caring about the needless deaths of other humans wrong? I am an American, born here and raised by immigrants from the soviet union escaping religious persecution, and I care when other humans die without just cause.

I even care when Qadaffi's grandchildren were killed. But I still love America, and I love the USA enough to disagree with it but not leave for another country. That's like having a disagrement with your spouse over what color car to buy and getting a divorce.

This is why most of the world doesn't like or respect Americans.... many are total A-holes who stubborn and refuse to think for themselves.

Do you really think because Obama announced the death of a terrorist it's going to save him from being remembered as the worst president in the history of the united states?
Lol

No....

What I think is people who hate Obama because of who he is don't care about America. All they care about is making him a one termer. America is secondary to those who simply hate the man because of who he is.

They'd rather claim Osama was killed years ago instead of admittig Obama killed his arse.

People who aren't happy about the death of OBL are republicans who don't care about America period. If killing OBL gave them tax breaks then they would care. Since it doesn't they could care less about America and the people who died that day.

The conspiracy is too obvious.

I think they are losing their touch.

So I guess this means 4 more years for Obama?

I wonder who will become the next boogey man. It already feels kind of 'lonely' with Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden dead.

Seen a couple of folks use the broken version of this pic, so i fixed it for them.

Neat how a change of perspective reveals the truth.

Exactly. I think that on cue, the operative who corralled them got them to cheer by yelling "Guess what... the rest of the night DRINKS ARE ON ME!"

Oh and since this thread is a bit of history, i'd also like to put a shout out at...

-The Navy Seals Team

-The U.S. Army Special Forces

-C.I.A.'s elite Special Activities Division

I starred your thread because that guy up there got all upset that you think differently

and thats what ATS is all about

The truth is that he didn't in fact do terrorism himself. He was just a very involved enthusiast and sponsor/supporter of terrorism. Of course, new information could surface giving proof that he did in fact participate as a terrorist and I could be wrong, but that information hasn't surfaced yet.

God, I can't wait to see what'll happen to this website in 2012, lol.

I just heard that now that Osama Bin Laden is dead, they will be releasing his videos in a box set.

And then a music album and a couple tell-all books by his associates.

I guess some people dont see the propaganda when it bites them in their butts.

It's too obvious.

It's a damn shame we didn't capture him. His death just made him the biggest martyr ever for radical islam. They're going to elevate him to prophet status. Maybe we better wrap his body up with bacon to prevent his followers from thinking he went to heaven.

Laden death will not mute Jihad call

Updated at 10:45 PST Monday, May 02, 2011

DUBAI: Members of Jihadist forums said they prayed the news of Osama bin Laden's death was not true, and hinted at retaliation if it was, in some of the first Islamist reaction to the al Qaeda leader's death.

"Oh God, please make this news not true...God curse you Obama," said one message on an Arabic language forum. "Oh Americans ... it is still legal for us to cut your necks." "Osama may be killed but his message of Jihad will never die. Brothers and sisters, wait and see, his death will be a blessing in disguise," said a poster on another Islamist forum.

Interesting the pakistani article originated from Dubai.

$5 says they have been holding Bin Laden in custody in some underground prison cell just waiting for the right time to "assassinate" him.

Who's to say they didnt just shoot him in some jail cell beneath Germany and stage the whole attack in Pakistan as some heroic raid?

I aint buying it...this close to election time? Wag the dog bites again.

I'm just sitting back watching and wondering, do these kids even know what really happened? I know because I had a family member killed in the first TC that crashed to the ground, and I am NOT happy at all that only one man has been caught, what about all the other goons who killed my family member? when are people going to get REAL justice?

they have killed many terrorists including thousands of civilians and lets not forget about the army men and women... pretty equal i say, considering the american government are responsible.

As far as the cheering what do you think it would look like in a Muslim Country? They would be shooting AK47's off in the air. Like they do when the dinner bell is sounded. Not a clue that what goes up must come down and then it would be called civilian causalities at the hands of the US Military. lol It happens every day and people are oblivious.

While I am happy our US Military planted this guy. I can't say a celebration is in order or even feel that way. Just another dead terrorist. Many more where he came from. And how many more will join. Still I'm glad they planted him. Just goes to show you why college students probably shouldn't be allowed to vote. I say that knowing it's their constitutional right so they really shouldn't be restricted but they don't have a clue.

Ya see I'm not one that supports that 200 year old document only when it supports my current views like a lot of people.

I actually agree with this. If I were a soldier and the President said take him alive I would put 12 rounds through his skull.

It's a propaganda. Pure and simple.

If you read the news now and back then (10 years ago), you'll see.

Osamas Bin Laden's Death (5-1-11) Let's see some bible verses.

Here.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (King James Version)

1 Thessalonians 5

1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

What do you think?

In my opinion, the smartest thing would've been to say he committed suicide and throw their view of him down the garbage. But as you said, he just went down as a martyr, but I guess those fighting in his honor give us a reason to go to war...
