CNN being commended by White House for restraint in not speculating. Announcement in East Room of White House.

Not domestic or economic according to CNN

My few bets...

1. We will bomb Syria
2. Terrorist attack coming
3. By executive order I raise the debt ceiling

Something BIG is up w/ this announcement!

It is late and he is changing this announcement to something other than what he called this for.

I have the TV on Celebrity Apprentice, they showed a ticker coming across the screen informing everyone that Obama will be making an important announcement shortly.

I would not be shocked if it had something to do with recent events in Libya. This Administration and NATO have some explaining to do. Assassinating Ghadafi was not the plan. We are supposed to be enforcing a No Fly Zone and giving humanitarian aid and nothing more. Instead we are bombing this country and may have killed it's leaders children and grandchildren.

what if Britian is going to be attacked? Could explain why the Prince William and Princess Catherine were going to go on honeymoon, and then not, for personal reasons? Most protect the future monarchs.

Also, don't forget our NASA shuttle was "delayed" twice.

Britian currently doesnt have good relations with the middle east.

Britian is our biggest ally in my opinion.

Probably not, he's been dead for about 10 years now. Most likely regarding Syria or China.

Osama is dead. And, they would not do it at 10:30 on a Sunday.

It pretty much has to be something that is an imminent threat.
