The world is an asylum
safe barriers paint the external
hidden dwellings within
routines
schemes
spoiled dreams
the promise lies broke
but you are my medicine
afflicted by your decadence
addicted to your essence
blessed with a full moon
on every number

I enjoyed reading this. Thank you for sharing.

For some reason it is always easier for me to write poetry when I am depressed or sad or broken-hearted.

I hope writing this made you feel better.

Me too... I hate it when I'm depressed. But I do my best writing then. Thanks for sharing.
