A senior nuclear adviser to the Japanese Prime Minister is resigning, alleging the government ignored his safety advice. Toshiso Kosako says the wrong radiation limits were set for schools near the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant, endangering the lives of children. The Japanese government denies the claims, insisting it followed expert advice. The plant has been releasing radioactivity since being hit by a earthquake and tsunami in March.

So anyone here a little worried about the total media clampdown in NorthAmerica? I dont think the radiation is going to hit us too bad directly but the fact we are still buying food and fish from the Pacific without testing is a bit crazy non? And how bad do you think the damage in Japan really is word is they are sending their kids to schools with ground level radiation levels that will kill them. While N.Korea shuts their schools down any time it rains the smallest bit of the crap...

edit sorry mods only saw Global Meltdown on the Forum title while it does have a financial impact it should be in another category.

I swear there is a total media clampdown on this issue in NA already. Haven't heard a word about Japan for many weeks... the only place I see it discussed still is here.
EDIT: Too bad that even though he admitted they ignored him no one will bring charges against them.

You can see the Japanese Government is lying through its teeth! Why have a Nuclear Senior Adviser if you are to follow the advice of "Nuclear Experts" before that of your Adviser?

The Gov probably hopes to terminate quickly people already hit hard by radiations, and we won't be told. They could even be counted later on as "Tsunami Victims"... It may sound far-fetched, but the whole world has been lied to by TEPCO since the beginning, and for more than a decade to the Japanese Government that now tries to cover its @$$ for its utter incompetency...

You are right. Our governments are as guilty with the way they are "dealing" with this situation... Which must be some kind of admission that solutions to clean and protect from radiations are more than ready, after all, they expose themselves to this, too, but we won't see it, as always.
