Disturbing workshop experience... beware of 'bio-energy' freaks

Its been 2 days since, and im still frightened, cant sleep well or rest my mind
over it... I guess telling the story can easy me up.... the screams... oh boy.

So a friend of a friend of mine send me an email to show up at this place...
im so naive at some things, so I went WITHOUT checking site references,
teachers, papers and whatever a normal person do before wasting his/her
time on anything.

I arrived earlier, some 10 mins, and the place was neat, but very suburban,
not much esoteric, beers were all around and some guys smoking cigs.

Of course my 'friend' didnt showed up, so I went on my own (mistake! dont
go alone in places you dont know kids!). Double fault... Nice start.

The place were filled with lesbian women and some either thin or fat teenagers,
really young... some old women were there also. What I found strange (at the
time) is the overall feeling of the place... it was nothing eerie, but everyone
seemed to hug a lot, hold hands alot, somewhat forced smiles all around.. lots
of hair brushing and everything... most people were kinda sad actually, wich adds
to the smiling factor with a strange mix.... I know now what it is, but at the time
was just "when in rome, see the coliseum" thing and i couldnt care less.

The lecture begun, some 40 people (90% women) with no shoes on the floor..
It was an old guy talking.... he started with sex talk, on how its fundamental to
have a good sex life, that sex is life... Well, some lady made a sound with her
mouth (meh kinda thing) and the guy ask for her to leave. Some alarm in my
head ranged (cult mentality warning!), but it was too late - already spent the gas
to go over there, so lets roll. Summing up what he was trying to say in one
sentence: get laid or feel (and be) a sorry ass, and your mommy and daddy are
responsible. What a piece of work...

We all stand up, music went loud... a little party... but the way they dance was
freak! I know dancing is not like that.... I was like 'hell, Im in no mood for dancing'
and then one of the female monitors tok my hands from my pockets I ordered
with serious eyes to "let go".

In my right was this strange man, who later told us that he was a coc aine addicted,
and to my left a skinny fella dancing like he was waaaaay high, but with a lucid face.
3 songs later, the women (mostly lesbian/ackwardly careslly dressed) were like...
in the mood... dancing way fast than the music....

Oh boy... then the things started to happen... the lecturer started yelling to stop
dancing and to bow down slowly to the gound... Just like my old kungfu... then the
weirdest thing: an old woman started to cry... like that! I was like "wtf, why?" but
some other people started to groan and moan... The lecturer told us to get slowly
your arms to rise up, and to move your belly to the front, slightly bending your knees.

One skinny woman was shackin sooo bad.... another guy was without his shirt and
was heavy into the shacking.... I was thinking like "common, this is stupid...", but no
one was looking to everyone like me.... It went for 10 mins... Im in shape (thanks to
my shorinji kempo teacher) so this was nothing at all of exercise.... but the old ladies
were fainting and crying...

Then everything stop... like a gymn clas, eveyone get a mat (black) for abdominals..
and place along the room... I was next to the skinny guy early in the dance thing, and
right beside him was the lady that started to cry first.

What goes next... man.... my wife said to me later after I told her: "why wont you just
leaved?" At the time I was in shock.... I just couldnt. Weird # blocks everything man!

The lecturer described what we have to do: lay down with your back and head in the
mat and keep your legs up, bare foot in the ground, hands too. Then you must breathe
with your mouth completely open INTO your belly, flexing your ab - it was just like a
sex movement... thats why the lecture was about sex!

Oh man... women cryed hard as it gets, moaning like crazy.. the old woman started to
cry loud and loud... the guy next to mee was shouting.... it was like being in the worst
porn thing in the world.. after 10 mins I was way passed from 'wtf' to 'oh my god'.

Surest thing: I was feeling the effect too.. thank god for robert bruce! Since I know how
to flow CHI, i conducted the whole thing to my upper chakras.... It felt really intense!
But the thought in my head was non-stop: "shield, shield, shield"....

On my front, some woman in her 25´s was almost convulsive.... I just lift my head to
see... they simply put two other mats beside her, so her arms wouldnt hit the ground...

Jezz..... then the screams started... like a 10x orgasm... mostly from two or three dudes,
maybe the coc aine addicted guy.

It went for 2 hours.... Imagine 2 hours of screaming and people going bananas...


My take on the whole thing

1. Overdoing the 2nd chakra get people EXTREMELY emocional;
2. The eletric shock is from the breathing technique, activating secundary layer of mini-chakras;
3. After one hour, all chakras are responsive IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING;
4. These people are in for the thrill, the ego trip, the attention, and to 'feel special' - not a spiritual path;
5. When you experiencing like that, YOU WILL ACTRACT ASTRAL BEINGS - and you will bathe them in your energy IF YOU DONT RAISE YOUR SHIELD OF PROTECTION;
6. The woman in front of mee suffer a major psychic attack... the lecturer said 'she liberate her anger' - BULL.
7. This is addictive... all those women were very VERY entranced for the submission... succubus relationship?

Thats it - forewarned is forearmed.

I just cant sleep... damn stupiid people... they are like dogs shouting and crying to the moon...

Wow, really interesting read.

Personally, if I was doing exercises to evolve my spiritual being, I'd do them alone or with close friends, not a bunch of random weirdos and old women...

Yeah... but can get pretty lonely.... I think this experience was meant to happen, because
feels like a lesson learn... on how to NOT do things spiritual.

I feel sorry for those people.. they look for help in the wrong places.

It sounds like you went to some goofy pseudo religious new age workshop which was not only pointless but also not something you are into in the first place. What exactly were you expecting and what did you think the group was going to be talking about???

Man, i was expecting a heavy discussion on prana, chakras, etc.... what I got was absolutely no
theory discussion and the practice was a shamanic / tribal / succubus kind of thing..

The language of the lecturer was dirty... very 'lets get together afterwards'...

Ahhhh....By BioEnergy I thought you meant Renewable Energy Solutions and so forth.

I imagine that most groups you are going to find that deal with the types of topics you're talking about are going to be similar to what you experienced. Many of them are just people looking to exploit others either sexually, financially, etc. with a B.S. story and weird made up theological crap. Be careful when dealing with these people and tell your friend that you really don't appreciate him advising you about things in such a careless way. It's not much of a friend who suggests you go to something which he has no clue as to what it's about and the people who will be there. Maybe you should return the favor by sending him to a KKK rally under the guise of it being a "Seminar about the future of Mankind and their place in the world" or something like that and see how he likes it.

Its odd how a group mentality affects people around them and the "crazy gets shared". This video reminded me of the same imagery you gave me with your story.

I think its the absolute seriousness and fakeness (not a word i think but ill live with the horror of it) of people like that which disturbs me...and fascinates me.....and it confuses me most of all :S

And its interesting how they, like the people you met forcing smiles, are forcing tears.

Be careful when generalizing like that. I have been to a lot of workshops on energy, chakras, and even Tantra, that come nowhere close to the experience the OP was describing. I think succubus was probably a good word to use in this case, as is your statement about SOME being exploitive sexually and often financially. But to use words like MOST and MANY isn't being fair to those serious about a spiritual path and helping others without any hint of exploitation.

And that's one of the ways you can tell the difference. Some teachers do get on the guru trip and exploit because they can. Definitely not all though.

Wow... sounds like this teacher is rounding up sacrificial lambs to be offered up in a ritual of mass rape by spiritual entities. I don`t know anything about chakras, but that`s just what it sounds like to me. Especially what you said about women in pain. The men weren`t in pain right? Well rape wouldn`t be as bad for a guy. Just my perspective.

When you plan, it gives time for the perversion that is the lower ego/primal consciousness/Satan (all the same thing, yes) time to collaborate and bring out the perversion. Do it spontaneously, do not plan. And don't do it in groups while we're still attached to this lower ego.

I would of stayed around for a while like you did, mainly out of curiosity although you'd have to be very careful, I bet you learnt something despite it not being the kind of things you were expecting, observing such "freaks" in action both energetically and visually could aid one with knowledge to help or protect either oneself or others in the future.

Did you think about confronting the group (or some individuals in it) with your opinion, like in a frank honest sort of manner? You know like to try to help some of them, you seem aware so perhaps your ability to help them was why you synchronistically found yourself there?..... I tend not believe in coincidence that's all

Thanks man... I guess I was lucky - no hitchhiker spirits on me. My 'shields'
were adequate.... couldnt say that for the poor woman... man, I never saw a
frenzy like that...

Thanks for your reply.... when the lecturer was speaking, the thought 'this is
too human talk for a spiritual thing' crossed my mind several times. I think
he was adjusting the group to focus on sexual feelings for the astrals there.

practice, everyone got to say some words... the veteran people look exausted
and zombie emocionally, and the teacher was indiferent to them - I noticed how
he was interestes in the new sheep..

EXACLY. You have the same understandind as I do. It was ritualized (people getting
responses just by dancing), it was premeditated (the sad/forced smiles and
group hugging). The words SPIRITUAL RAPE comes with no effort. Poor girls. The
males went up for pain I guess. The guy next to me was not sad, happy.. he was
in something like awe/terror. The lecturer said a lot to "put out repressed sex"..

Yes, I can see it. But planning creates strong defensive measures to oneself ego,
and thats a important skill to do, because your conscience is always where the ego
is.. if you cant carry the ego along (healthy), in my exp nothing is done right.

When I got my time to say for the group I opted the easy way "It was okay, but I
stopped in the middle afraid of what was happening." nobody cared - I was out of
the group mentality..."Next" was the only word I heard from the 'guru'.

The need of confronting was there after I was safe home... I was pissed!

Obviously they are feeling fulfilled there. You went, you didn't like it and you can choose to not go back. They went there and they keep coming back for more.

Im so pissed at the lecturer... if the place was not in the other side of my city I
may pay him a visit... what a mind job. Thing is, hes punishment will be when
he dies and its his turn to be a sucking discarnated entity for the longest time
