The moon rotating once a day in exact syncronisation with the earth.
Surely after millions of years of asteriod/comet bombardment there would be changes to the moons orbit or trajectory and surely even if the moon does rotate, at different times of the year when the moon is higher/lower in the sky we should see at least part of the 'dark side'.
