Use this thread to state what you disagree with, even in the face of what a majority, or the scientific community might believe in.

For example: I don't care how many scientists believe in the Big Bang Theory. I will never be convinced that of the billions of galaxies, each with billions of stars and trillions of planets, moons, and comets and meteors were all scrunched down into a singularity as tiny as the head of a pin. Just not buyin' it.

What's YOUR disbelief?

Well I know we will all agree to disagree.

But we will never agree on agreeing due to some egos of this era.

I just can't wrap my mind around the big bang theory either. I mean, according to the little bit I've read, before the big bang there was -------

What a coincidence. I don't believe in The Giver either.. lol
Seriously though, if that's your impression of God, I don't blame you for not believing..

...faking the moon landing. I just don't see it. NASA may have altered pictures, but I think it was for other reasons.

Ha. That's easy. I'll never believe in HAARP creating earthquakes unless someone shows a valid mechanism for it.

And I don't believe mountain ranges take millions of years to form necessarily. I think major plate moves, rapid accretion, and 2000 foot tsunamis are possible. Heck, there is already proof of a 1,720 ft one happening in Lituya Bay- although from a huge landslide. But that's what a major plate move would be- a huge underwater landslide in a sense- but with much larger volumes of water displaced.

I hope imagination was allowed...oops

Haha, I totally forgot about that book. I haven't read it in about fifteen years.

And no... that is far from my interpretation of what makes up God. That's just how God is depicted 99% of the time.

... the concept of a single, all-encompassing truth.

We're human. Truth is what each person regards as truth.

If you're implying I'm an atheist, I never said that. I do believe in something higher that thoughts and consciousness can have am affect on, but not a guy in the clouds.
