I know we all live in a time of economic uncertainty but the Roswell museum seems to be going against that trend by bringing in healthy revenue for itself and the town.
Which makes this story a little puzzling and a great shame.

ROSWELL, N.M. -- Earth to Roswell -- your museum is on hold.

Plans to build a UFO museum in Roswell, New Mexico, are grounded. Roswell, of course, is the site of the supposed flying saucer crash in the late 1940s. The town has become a tourist mecca for those interested in little green men. Backers of the planned museum say construction is being put off due to circumstances beyond their control.

Museum director Julie Shuster isn't detailing the problems. She tells a local paper (Daily Record) the museum board will revisit the plans after the annual UFO Festival this summer.

they´re waiting for the big ships to come because when they build the museum and theres not enough room to store they´ll have to rebuild... so they´re waiting...

edit: oh the museum itself looks like a space ship from inside.
