US Authorizes Oil With The Libya Rebel

The US Treasury specifically authorized transactions with Qatar Petroleum and the Vitol Group "related to oil, gas, or petroleum products exported from Libya under the auspices of the Transitional National Council of Libya."

"The people of Libya are brave and defiant but we need access to oil revenues so that we can feed, protect and defend our families," it said.

Libyan rebels or terrorists believe that the oil will belong to them, they should rethink that

"These funds are crucial to establishing a stable and secure future nation, and we welcome the US decision to ease sanctions on our exports."

heres the link to the vitol group
Qatar Petroleum

Its all about Resources and money the rebels are fools to believe that elites will share there wealth with them

Well it's not like they can piss the money away any worse than Gahdafi and his family have done.

It's not about the elites having anything.

It's about America securing the most precious commodity to our nation. Would you rather we disbanded every U.S. oil company and just left all of it in the hands of those countries that produce it?

Why would you want to put America at a disadvantage like that when they could completely control something on which we desperatly need to keep our standard of living.

You anti-oil people are just ridiculous at times.
