This elegant modernist survivalist structure folds up into a perfect concrete cube, allegedly with the ability to ward off the Zombie Apocalypse™. While it is too exposed and not dug-in enough for my tastes, it does win points for style and the drawbridge thingie is pretty cool. I'd still prefer an old-school sandbagged warren in a real pinch, though.

I like when things are reposted, if I missed it. SnF

Very inventive.. but where's the automatic Sentry-type machine guns on the roof?

I'm hoping they have an awesome underground bunker as well

I swear people are making zombie threads just to get free stars and flags.

I don't like when things are re-posted. It is very easy to look at the recent topics or the recent posts/firehose pages and see what has been posted and not miss anything. I see every thread posted because of how I view ATS, which is also why I catch so many duplicates. If you view it that way you won't miss anything
It took me a while to get a method down esp when they kept changing everything lol

Silent
yeah this was posted but it's still cool. I would so live in this house.

Why does the Titanic come to mind? I can picture people trapped in side with no way out after the zombies have already gotten inside.

I am one of those who tend to over think the zombie apocalypse.

I prefer a multi-use home that is secure for a number of situations.

This might be great for Zombies, but one bunker buster would incinerate the interior! Plus, castles are subject to seiging. The zombies can just wait outside until you run out of fresh water and food!

My dream home lies down a winding dirt driveway, built completely off grid, outside of view from any road, built without permits, into the side of a hill where part of the home is exposed, but an inner portion is safely underground. It has at least one hidden room even further underground which can be isolated to be hermetically sealed very easily. It has several small outbuildings connected by tunnels. It has its own fresh water supply, and can function properly with or without electricity.

It is already constructed in my head, I just have to find the perfect acreage and keep saving my pennies!
