Dear Sir,

Obviously you have no cosideration for your fellow man, so maybe this response is wasted on you, but Obama has to make these apperences and yes perhaps even play golf as part of position. Even if the golf and family vacations are not part of his duties that is his private time, which I'm sure he gets less of than the average person because of his service to this country. Tell you what, if you are ok with me showing up to your next family vacation, nascar event you are attending, or business meeting and badgering you about providing proof you were born in this country, then I will give your point some consideration. I think many people don't realize what a burden the responibility of 24 hour a day command can bring. As to your second point, it is true that maybe he is not the one locating the document, making a xerox, and then photoshop docturing the certificate (that ones for you
), he has to make a statement, prepare what he is going to say, and figure out how to take away our civil liberties (also for you). This takes an inordinate amount of time that could be spent on: solving the debt crisis, bringing the troops home, more effectively floridating our water, or any number of other presidential things which are infinitely more important. Therefore people who think that he should take the time to address something that pretty much everyone (also see previous post about trained dolphins getting this) thinks is a non-issue, makes our country look moronic. Thank you all of you Birthers. Y'all, along with the neo-cons, kkk, and terrorists can make Mexico a #tier place somehow (no offense Mexicans it is hyperbole) when I become President and deport all of the aforementioned groups for not being able to provide your long form BC and proove you were born here.

For whatever reason, obama has spent over two years trying to avoid releasing his long form birth certificate.

Why?

Because it's a non-issue.

Except for RACISTS.

Another example of a fine mind.

What about when McCain was asked about his birth certificate? Was that RACIST as well? All these needleheads that shout out the 90's buzz word "Racism" everytime any minority gets questioned are really amusing. It might be a non-issue with some people...but it definitley is not racism.

A long form birth certificate with the correct hospital name, race designation appropriate to the era, a properly sequential ID number, that looks like all the other birth certificates from that office issued that week, unlayered with no manipulations whatsoever?

Not much, really.

Hmmmm lets see what could of possibly have been important enough to Obama that he didn't release his long form BC straight away. Well there was, to name a few, and in no particular order

Guantanamo
Iraq
Afganistan
The BP oil spill
The financial crisis
Reforming healthcare
An assassination attept in Arizona
Revolutions across the globe
Civil war in Mexico (Not officially but come on what else do you call it)

You no who wasn't born in the USA? Presidential candidate John McCain. But did anyone care about that? Nope.

Wow! Took you 5 lines to pull out the race card.

Besides that, the release of this document from the Whitehouse is a joke on YOU, not the birthers. This thing has been proven to be a fake, & not just a fake, but not even a well made fake & yet you still don't care. They are rubbing $&!# in your face & shoving it down your throat & all you can do is smile & say, "More please! Lie to me some more!"

Go bleat elsewhere. I thought this was a conspiracy site.

If you deny that race does not play a factor, then you are merely ignorant. Race played a factor for Obama to get into office (I am black and know dozens who voted for him for that reason) and there are racially motivated people to see him fail.

All of us here know the U.S. is far from a color blind utopia

As for the rest of your vulgar statement (probably the best a birther can do for an argument), you keep focusing on something that doesn't matter. I take issue with Obama for real reasons (Libya war, increased encroachment on our civil liberties ect.) not fairy tale conspiracies.

Why do you think the birther issue is played out so much on the MSM but conspiracies like 9/11 are shunned? Because they want you to follow the empty lead and not pay attention to the real issues.

Yes, this is a conspiracy site, so you should understand my frustration when I log on and all I see is a reproduction of the MSM on here!

Next time try making a point without reverting to baboonism

The race card is always the one on the bottom of the deck. It gets used in desperation. It IS amusing.

I love how the MSM is playing it as we speak - a bit of misdirection to pull the eyes away from the fact that it's another COLB and not a long form? They are good little slaves, the MSM.

you anti birthers claimed that there wasn't any long form in existence and made fun of birthers for asking for it...

Now they release an obvious fake for the obvious hope that it will keep their sheep, (you)- fighting for them and creating more ruckus so that America will focus on this instead of the HUMONGOUSLY long list of obama FAILURES..

How does it feel being such a mook, or patsy, (if you prefer that word instead)

If I were you, I would feel so embarrased..

Do not attempt to put words in my mouth. I never said (or believed) I didn't believe the long form existed. In fact I have never mentioned the long-form at all prior to this thread.

by even saying "Obama's failures" you are already headed away from the true issues.

You are inviting partisan trolling, and I refuse to be a part of it.

If you blame anything on Obama you must have no understanding of the oligarchy that truly controls him and most of U.S. policy.

It's ironic because you say I am fighting for "them" (TPTB), but in reality it is you that can't get over this issue that the MSM is using to deflect from other issues such as the illlegal war in Libya. Keep the birther occupied by todding out Donald Trump to fan the fire and take peoples mind off of the collapse of our economy.

It's like dangling a carrot in front of a horse, your chasing it so intently you don't see that you're about to run off of a cliff.

I personally do not like Obama, and did not vote for him or McCain.

I have moved on a long time ago, regarding this birther thing as a non-issue, because nearly anyone could have become president and they would of taken the same actions Obama has.

It is the birthers that keep bringing it up

It is the birthers clogging up ATS with garbage

It is the birthers who are blocking a relevant conversation about true issues

Not the rest of us

I hope I have made myself abundantly clear

All we can do is leave the birthers to their unending cycle... To try to reason with them is futile and only adds to the page count. I will try to make this my last comment in a birther thread. I recommend others who wish to see this topic die do the same, so we can move onto real issues.

Ok so Barack Obama's short birth certificate was not enough for you (the one even Hawaiian gets when they are born and is perfectly legal.)

Now he releases his full birth certificate and it's STILL not enough for you?!

What do you want, a video of Obama being born and held up next to a newspaper on the day of his birth?

Would it really matter since all presidents since Kennedy have been controlled in one form on another by TPTB?

Can we drop this childish charade (which seems racially driven) and focus on bigger issues like um.......the collapse of our country?

If any birther dares, please respond.

LET THIS BE THE LAST BIRTHER THREAD

Some people would rather believe a lie over the truth. Even though the birth certificate is authentic, the truth is not good enough for them to believe. Deep down birthers have a problem with Obama on a personal level. Since Obama represents everything we have fought against (socialism and liberalism), the smallest anomaly will be questioned, examined, and processed.

Although I am dead set against the man's policies, I personally think the larger picture is more important. If it turned out that the certificate was a fake, I would jump on board with impeaching Obama. As a result of the certificate being authentic, I think we should change our focus towards defeating him in 2012.

Its time to move onward and upward.

Hey thanks, I couldn't agree with you more.

I don't really know about McCain being pressed to reveal his birth certificate--I seem to remember there was some hand-wringing about his being born on a military base in Panama. But we're not talking about John McCain in this thread, are we?

It's foolish of you to suggest that the Birthers and their ridiculous night-terrors about citizenship are just another case of, as you put it, "everytime any minority gets questioned." Their repeated claims that the POTUS is a Kenyan-born Muslim who was indoctrinated while in Indonesia is obviously serving to drive home the point for the fearful and weak-minded voters: Obama is not "one of us."

If this obsession with his birth certificate "definitely is not racism" as you claim, then what is it? Where were the hordes demanding birth certificates from GW, Clinton, George HW and Reagan? Are you trying to suggest that the Birthers are just concerned citizens with a legitimate gripe?

The birth certificate "question" with regards to Obama is just another facet in the ongoing supposition that he is not sufficiently American for some people. First it was "hey, he didn't put his hand over his heart during the Star Spangled Banner." Then it was "why doesn't Obama wear a US flag lapel pin?" These were followed by relatively more minor blips concerning Obama not attending some Boy Scouts anniversary event, or not going to Arlington for Veteran's Day. Again, trying to sow the seeds that he is not one of us--he is Other.

All of this nattering is clearly tied to his race--his share of chromosomes contributed by his Kenyan father. Why else would so many on the right go out of their way to time and again underscore Obama's middle name--Hussein--if they didn't think it was some sort of racial or ethnic wedge?

I have been coming to this site for quite some time, but only now felt compelled to register an account and respond to a thread.

I am not a birther. I never have been a birther. I believe Obama is 100% American. Until yesterday, I had no reason to be suspicious of anything to do with a birth certificate. I think the birthers who think Obama was born in Kenya are nutty. As an American born abroad, I am fully aware of how U.S. citizenship is transferred to children born to one U.S. citizen abroad. I acknowledge the 14th Amendment. I believe no matter where Obama lived in his life, nor for how long, he is eligible to be president because he is an American.

Now onto why I'm here:

I am a web developer and work extensively with graphics. The moment I opened that PDF yesterday, I knew it had been doctored. Today, I find myself very much on the suspicious side of this issue, and think it's intellectually dishonest for those of you who dismiss the evidence of computer generation and graphical manipulation.

No, I've never been a supporter of Obama. I am more of a Ron Paul kind of woman. But still, I distanced myself from the birthers because I believe wholeheartedly that they're wrong about Obama not being an American.

I still believe he's an American, but today, I want answers as to why an American president would release a "document" that does nothing more than prove it's nowhere near authentic.

Jack, just because you start a thread doesn't make it "yours". You have no power to censor other people's opinions and responses. You made a nebulous statement, I asked you to be more specific, offering up some options. You don't like it, go make your own website. Thanks a billion.

Why are the people supporting the birther movement so ignorant to the racial undercurrent that has been driving the entire agenda right from the start?

Do some research into it. And it will lead you to this guy; Andy Martin. Known to be the "Birther King". Also known to be an anti-semite. He was the guy who is said to have first questioned the validity of Obama's citizenship during his campaign in 2004. From that point forward a small faction of Obama haters gave the movement a life of it's own.

The hatred runs deep, and it has since before he even took office. Why?

Explore it. Don't ignore it. There are a lot of people who realize this for what it really is. The others are just ignorant to it.

I so much applaud your response as being the real key issue to this entire fiasco...

Sadly though, the obama sheep don't share in our curiosity in understanding the questions you ask..

He could start calling for the assasination of American citizens suspected of being terrorists and they would still support him......

Oh, that's right... He did do that, and they still love him... What fine fellow Americans we have in our midst today
