No one bothered to because Bush nor Clinton were ever accused of having Muslim ties.

Anyways, I was always kinda suspect of him in the first place; maybe I doubted a little bit if he was actually born here, but what I was really wondering is if he had something hidden in his background that he didn't want anyone to find out about.

It's said and done, if it's real, etc, etc, then let's move on and focus on the real issue at hand:

Obama being the worst president in history.

You're right! We have nothing to focus on except high unemployment, failed foreign policies, three wars, a rotten economy, a failing dollar..........
I think Obama is going to miss the birth certificate issue

i want to know why it took him so long to get it out there. its as simple as taking a picture sending it with someone he trusts like his wife and best bodyguard to show the stuff.

Well that's a relief, I thought it might have been racism but good old fashioned hatred for a different ethnic/religious group is just fine.

Did you ask George Bush to do the same? How about Clinton?

If there was any question about the issue and they refused, your damn right Id ask them, and I would have the same questions and concerns, but then again, i'm not a republican or a democrat, I am just a guy who used common sense and where there is smoke...... There usually is fire.

No harm in wanting to see it anyway, somebody who asking for the support of the American people and who promises transparency and hope should be happy to offer such a simple gesture right? Not like it is private information, if it were, we wouldn't have to produce it to government agencies would we?

I may have missed this but why would a non establishment figure be supported to become President?

Its sad really that people think in such a way. That the President of the United States, arguably the most powerful individual in the world has had to give in to this is quite astonishing.

Frankly, It says a lot about his mindset in my opinion. I think he's a broken man. Someone with a good heart and head who has been beaten down by the system.

He needs to compose himself and do some good before the election.

So they finally were able to fake up a long form certificate.

What about his fake Connecticut social security number?

I'm calling BS and the racist card is getting tired.

McCain is white and he had the same kind of problems - and showed his birth certificate (unfortunately he still wasn't eligible as the act of Congress his camp always used to defend Panama birth had been repealed by Congress within a few years, back in the 1700s...).

This is/was just a hopeful angle for people paranoid about Obama for OTHER reasons - 'socialist', 'muslim-lover, 'anti-american', etc. - to nullify what they saw as his ruination of the US. Given that the Kenyans and even his family were supposedly claiming he had been born in Mombasa, and that he STILL has citizenship issues with his time in Indonesia and their supposed non-allowance of dual citizenship, to ascribe this all to racism is simply ignorant and myopic, and akin to a dissonance defense of one's hero-worship.

In my opinion, the thing is a non-issue at this point regardless as the damage has already been done, we've got bigger problems to worry about, and there was already much prior damage anyway from the other morons in Washington, but if we are in fact a nation under the rule of law, then it is a serious matter nonetheless.

Get off the race card and pay attention to actual issues at hand, though. It's just depressing to hear someone dismiss valid concerns and say "Oh they's just a bunch of racist hillbillies".

This probably is his real birth certificate, but you must assume that this was hid for the sole purpose to be shown after many questions had been raised to be a decoy because there is another issue, such as academic records, student loans and such that have been fudged and are the real documents he wishes concealed.

By revealing his birth certificate and proving millions wrong about his origin of birth, who will now dare to challenge the other hidden and sealed documents? Hmmmmmm.

I can hear the wheels turning. Will the birthers deepen the conspiracy and continue to forgo meaningful political debate or is there another conspiracy for them on which to waste and squander their energy? I'm amused seeing them flail about at the periphery of reality and meaning
What to do with all that hatred?

Why all the hoopla and drama over it?????????

ROFLMAO After years of feeble and childish demands, he releases it despite no legal requirements to do so.

ON TOPIC:

Birthers, have some humble pie to go with the egg on your face:

Before you celebrate to much, remember HE CAVED.

A fine toothed comb has not been used yet on this document.

Remember, this is an administration well schooled in Chicago's mafia styled politics.

Whether this is real or not, and I'll accept it as real, unless someone can prove it's not. I think this shows an important thing. We need a man like TRUMP in office. He is a man of command and action. He get's things done. If anyone but Trump demanded the BC, we still would not have it. A leader, and a man with inflience, like Trump gets it done. This just shows his ability to make things happen.

Clinton actually won his elections, as far as I'm aware.

Bush lost in 2000 in Florida but was handed his first term anyway, and the election issues in Ohio in 2004 suggest he likely actually lost to Kerry that time as well.

I'm white, but if questioning presidential eligibility or validity makes one racist, I guess I'm racist against all races.
