"Sun Tzu's The Art of War" what gets us into Iraq in the first place?

(i.e. My enemy's enemy is my friend. )

The weapons we gave to Saddam to help fight IRAN are coming back at us now. The reason this Administration knows he has WMD is because we have the receipts!

A problem in resepct to a democracy which has elections and priorities related to what at the time seem like good ideas.

The analogy of crying over spilt milk seems apropriate.

the 4 year term plan was a good idea from prventing emporalism, where a strong leader rises brings a nation to its height then the nation dies with the leader. the romans and greeks were a good example, after alexander the geat, that was it, startin on downhill. our founding old people obviously thought of this, and now it seems to still be our undoing. just as now, we make an afghan peoples army, who is to say it won't be our enemy again some time? we can only act in the moment and not know the future, but see what it is likely to become based on our actions.
