Well. I knew people somewhere could do it. I always thought to myself that they could get some sort of natural energy from meditation. But surviving for 70 years without food or water? That seems a little intense!

I doubt this man would lie. If he is willing to be put into a hospital and looked after, his lie wouldn't last long.

He must be in such high stages of meditation, it's mind blowing. Literally.

Tell me what you think. To me this is the Human races true potential. Like many think, our body is a computer, and if we don't destroy it with most modern foods, we can learn to control it. This truly is incredible.

You might want to try searching for this on ATS - the story is from last year and it was discussed here in depth then.

These kind of stories are crazy.. And I have now heard many different cases of holy men generally around this region of the world doing this..
If it is possible, it is truly amazing and would solve many of the worlds problems..
Does anyone know of any of these cases that have been scientifically studied or proven? I'm sure there have already been hoaxes, somewhere along the line..

Clearly that guy is depriving himself of food and water but for 70 years???????? NOT POSSIBLE no way no how........hes human so unless that has changed then he will die without food or water depending on how much he is sneaking about with it. I like Indians but in this way they can be religious fanatics willing to take their bodies to extremes that just should not be taken given the health issues stemming from it.....the main one and most popular of course being DEATH!!!!!

Indian man has a name and its Prahlad Jani or Mataji. All these tests indian military has done were in vain because allegedly he was out of range of some CCTV camera for some time in his room. This means he was only 99% monitored and not 100% so nothing is still 100% proven. Plus the military has been accused of actually being part of the elaborate hoax. I believe he really doesn't eat anything - it's called Inedia and you can read about it here: en.wikipedia.org...

70 years! Come on seriously!

Lock him in a room with no services and open it up after 70 days and see if he's still smiling.

He's either a miracle on legs or a charlatan, I'll go with the latter.

Go with what you will.

He lasted 2 weeks in the hospital under camera guard by the doctors.

So how does it feel to be wrong?

Theres a couple of details the quak doctor left out about his observations. First this was not the first time and this latest one was in 2010. Now critics claim he was allowed to meet his followers unsupervised and after that could go outside and sit to supposedly soak up the sun again unsupervised. What it amounts to is he basically slept with cameras on him and the rest of the time could go unobserved???

You didn't do your research, get called on it and now you want that person to do your research.

Almost clever of you!
