New York Times falls for Onion spoof

The paper of record has been punked by the paper of parody.

The New York Times' April 17 mini-retrospective on the "original teen-girl tabloid," Tiger Beat, included a sampling of the magazine's covers throughout the years. But as the Times learned the hard way, one of those things was not like the other.

Mods, now i did a search and found zip so if this was posted or threaded , you know where and what to do with it.Is this a sign of what the MSM is using as reference? I should add i find this just to funny, a main stream news paper falls for a punked tabloid article what say you?is this just an oh ya should have checked source? Or is it a sign of what could be lack of good reporting and showing the real colors of news, anything goes.

Well I guess when they make their living making stuff up and pumping propaganda being able to tell the difference between fact and fiction gets a little hard.
