They get a paycheck, they can't be fired, They get paid six times more an a security guard and they do a substandard job in comparison, they retire at 50 with 90+ percent of their final years salary, they treat non cops like crap just to stroke their pitiful egos.

i think you've quoted the wrong person but i'll reply anyway, i'm completely neutral on the 'good cop/bad cop' scenario. this thread was simply a response to the thread praising them for something they are being paid to do, if their job is substandard then that is for a different topic.
