*A vaccine is launched, as it should be for a worldwide epidemic of any killer disease. Isnt that want to want our scientists to do?
*It was noted that there were side effects, as there are with most drugs. A handful (four fold increase over the naturally occurring rate) of cases of narcolepsy, so an investigation was launched. Isnt that what we want the regulators to do?
*The investigation results are available on the internet (the EMA website). This is what we want, isnt it?
* The results didnt say "all clear" but said "yes, there are problems". Problems of such concern they will continue to investigate. Thats not a bad result.
* But to avoid delay while the investigation continues, they provided advise to doctors that in some cases they should NOT use the drug. Hardly a conspiracy there.
Not sure how much more you want from these people when as far as I can see they've done it properly the whole way.
