This whole Libya thing reeks of CIA involvement. Reminds me of when the CIA tried to overthrow Hugo Chavez and replace him with a pro-American dictator. Its easy to see how anyone who defies American economic interests is a "tyrant" responsible for "destabilizing" their country. While in reality (the reality outside American news media) Venezuelan people love Chavez and fought, read it again, fought the coup and demanded Chavez as their leader. But you never heard THAT on Fox News or CNN did you? What sort of truths will come out after we replace Gaddafhi with a pro-American dictator?





While we're invading African countries why didn't we invade the Sudan to save the people there? Thousands of people were massacred but we never tried to stop it. That was a more pressing humanitarian crisis than Libya, by far.

well i think the west has realized that the people of libya want gaddafi in power...and the only way they can get rid of him,is to murder him...IE:blow him up with his kids,fast while they got the chance.

its a big panic in the UN at the moment to kill gaddafi,while the iron is hot so to speak...as most people are starting to see whats really going on.

I totally agree. It seems rushed, unlike the Iraq war where they meant to draw it out and spend tons of money. People are realizing the financial purposes behing ALL wars. All wars are financial wars and some people are only now realizing that democracy means nothing to the American government. The worse things get, the more people wake up.

this was the entire purpose for the
US Drones in Libya.

So my question is shouldn't America or Nato go into Syria now since president Saad is making Gaddafi look like a girl scout the way his military is cracking down on protesters. Is that not consistent with president Obama's foreign policy?

well syria has a strong alliance with iran,if the west get's involved in syria,it would be like a direct attack on iran and vice versa ..

plus you also have to look at it from a world map perspective.....it's a blatant destabilization of all the regions around israel and iran.
