That's what we do now, that's what we've always done. We elect "citizen statesmen" to be our representatives to the government.
is that some individuals and some corporations have grown so powerful and so rich, that they can use their wealth and power to
influence those representatives. Monopolies, trusts, money, influence peddling, lobbyists, cartels, conglomerates, these are bribes plain and simple.
That's what this so-called "representative" did, took a bribe from the banks, then ensured legislation would be favorable to them, ev en after it
was voted on, by striking it out and replacing the text with completely new text probably written by a bank lobbyist.
