Ok! It definitely isn't what I had in mind, because you would feel nothing but this immense weight in your chest and you 'd be unable to move. I
only thought about it because you were asleep, and this Myth I know (which is from Greece, I have no idea whether it is custom in other countries as
well) occurs to people when they are sleeping.
Once upon a time there was a woman called Mora. She had two children, but some soldiers beheaded them. She kept their heads stored in her closet,
because she was hoping to see her two little angels again. She mourned and mourned, but couldn't get them back. So, when she died, she never really
went away, but her spirit soul started looking for bodies that would suit her children's heads, so that she could reattach them to the stolen bodies
and reunite with her family. So she visits people when they sleep, sits on their chests and measures their bodies to see if they are a good fit.
As I said before, it is a myth, but too many people have experienced this. It is said that many people experience this even twice in their lifetime. I
still haven't, but too many of my friends, family, coworkers and various bloggers have, and personally I do believe she exists. Good thing is, the
myth tells that she will never be able to find the perfect bodies, so we are safe, but still, waking up in the middle of the night unable to breath,
speak or move without any idea how or why is pretty scary, don't you think?
