* GRAPHIC *A Kurdish Ceremoney !! OMG ! ?? Video

the title on Live leaks is GRAPHIC: Radical Islamists stick up eachother with knives, however this has nothing to do With Islam , and i wanted to post this before some one posted it Uesing the title like the user did on Live leaks to give the wrong impression About Islam ,

I want to say that this has nothing to do with Islam , this is a Kurdish ceremony , i know in the video it shows people chanting the Name Allah , but this is no part of Islam , i will not embbed the video here its a bit graphic their is little blood but still the thought of sticking a Knife through your body ..eeek .. so anyway watch the video at your own Risk , www.liveleak.com... also i tried to find info on this ceremony but i could not find anything , so if anyone out their wants to know why they do this like me , please feel free to enlighten me

Yeah, I didn't go watch the video, but that's ok because I'm fairly certain I've seen the ceremony before...Knives being stuck into people, right? Yeah, its not really Islam per se....at least in the sense that those that followed David Koresh were not Christian per se. I think (if I remember correctly) its kind of a little cult group within Islam....Their are some very similar Hindu rituals you can find online, with people sticking large spikes in their bodies, and such...still these rituals generally avoid the head and chest, where as this one doesn't....I'm sure occasionally someone dies doing this Kurdish ritual...it would seem unavoidable...sort of like those hillbilly snake handling churches here in the U.S.

Sorry....the curiosity got the better of me and I checked it out. Actually this particular video is not that extreme at all...it remembered me of the Hindu rituals I mentioned...the one I saw (which was undoubtedly the same group...just a more extreme one) Had people actually using Large Knives...and sticking them in their chest, as well as their heads. I'll see if I can find it, but I can't promise I will...its been a while since I watched it.

wow , were you ever able to find out why the Hindu people did this ? is like a rite of passage? the only thing i can think of why the kurddish people might do this , if we look at it from an Islam point of view it would be a show of no connection to this earth and that they are willing to risk their own life to show how much faith they have in Allah , this is what drives the Mujaheddin to fight , its the same Belief that drives Suicide bombers , ... so what i mean is they desire nothing in this life ,they only desire to be with Allah and they dont see it as suicide if your taking out an enemy , and i have problems with this when innocent people are involved , but ya i think its a show of not fearing death

Sorry, I looked for a long while trying to find the video I spoke of but couldn't find it. I did find a site of extremely graphic and bizarre subject matters which probably DID have it....yet I couldn't stomach going through all of the videos. Its a pretty sick mix of porn and violence, including accident scenes, and the like....Not something I was willing to look through simply to find a video I saw years ago. The site was m90.org if you are interested, but I truly, truly must warn you that its not something I would recommend going to....Not only that but, as I said, I'm not even a 100% sure they had the video...it did look like it probably had a good chance of being there, however. Now as for the Hindu ritual stuff....that was much easier to find. Heres a short clip, but there are many more on YouTube www.youtube.com...
There are many reasons why people do these things....I have many friends that are into the piercing community (I have a few piercings myself of a somewhat exotic variety). For those that are really heavily into it though, they see it as a spiritual thing. It is very easy to enter into an altered state of consciousness from the shock of doing such things to one's body. Others do it to prove the power of their God (I think this is more the case in the Kurdish example), as well as proving their own faith in God's willingness to protect them from harm..(much like the snake handling churches here in the U.S.)
